@ShaunCameron
I'm afraid you might be right about that. It's a shame because I chose a PS3 over a 360 because I live away from my home country so having a region free system is important to me.
I don't like piracy but I HATE region locking :(
Man, I don't know. I think it's important to make friends where you live. Maybe you should knock on your neighbor's door and ask them to play Wii, though that sounds kinda bad and might get you arrested.
Why does everyone want another Mario Galaxy? I'm still waiting for my Mario 64 sequel, where you have a castle to explore.
The only Pikmin I've played was in Nintendo Land but that was enough to convince me to get Pikmin 3.
Old McGroin, before saying Nintendo needs new IPs maybe you should try their current IPs first :)
I just don't get why people care that Mario Tennis, Mario Galaxy, and Mario Kart all feature Mario when the games are completely different. You say they're not innovating but are you talking purely about new characters? If all those Mario games -Dr. Mario, Paper Mario, Mario RPG, etc, etc- simply featured a different character but were still the same games, that would be OK?
I so don't care at all if this is only used to check to see if you have a legitimate copy of the game, not a pirated copy.
"Why in the world would Sony file this patent if Microsoft and Nintendo aren't?"
I don't think the author knows how patents work...
I don't know what to tell you... some people say the controls work flawlessly and other say terribly. I never had a problem with the controls myself.
SS doesn't use the sensor bar at all. The reviewer at gamespot thought the same thing and had trouble with the controls too.
Thanks for pointing out Project Cars is coming to the Wii U. I've seen the screen shots and videos and just assumed from the amazing graphics it would be PC only.
You're crazy. That Zelda tech demo wasn't a video, it was interactive. You could change the lighting and camera angles. And what would the point of a tech demo be if it didn't demo the tech?
That was a sad time. I was there for the candle light vigil.
It isn't really fair is it. The Vita is an amazing machine, far better than any tablet or mobile phone, yet it isn't doing well. Tearaway and Sly Cooper will be great I'm sure.
I hope Nintendo does introduce achievements. I was surprised they didn't since many recent first party games have achievement-like systems (Nintendo Land, that street pass rpg).
I doubt Zelda will be out in 2014. Skyward Sword took over six years to make.
Hear, hear! That was excellent.
Vita and 3da games do already. That you can look anywhere mechanic is great.
Those are good games though...
Also I'm betting a lot of the Wii U owners on n4g own more than one system. I think most people on n4g do.
You can become addicted to anything that gives you pleasure: food, sex, even working out. I definitely think gaming can be addictive but not especially so.
I don't think we need a N4G-AA.
I hope they push a second screen, whether it's through the Vita or not. I already feel spoiled by having the second screen in the Wii U. I would love if the PS4 had it too, though I'll buy it either way.
Also, fanboys, all fanboys, yoooooou're allllllllllllllllllllllllll craaaaaaaaaaaaazy.
No way the anti aliasing could be that good...
