That better come with Nintendo Land or I ain't buying.
I bubbled you up just for being on topic.
I'm definitely getting my preorder on to make sure I get one of the first batches.
Sudio-YaMi, I can't deny I'm jealous of the deals NA always gets. Especially packed in games (Uncharted at a big discount, Nintendo land with Wii U). Of course I'm going to buy systems either way but I can still dream :)
I thought you were going to say when Sony was on top they got bad press and now that Nintendo is on top (sales wise) they get bad press. It was a good point but in the end you didn't make it :-/
@metroid32
I don't know about 'Next Next', but if all that's true (though I admit I don't know what half that stuff means) then I hope the Wii U will get the multiplatform releases it missed out on the last gen. Of course all of this is hearsay until the Wii U is released and someone cracks it open.
"If Nintendo liked Platinum so much they should get them to make a new IP for them."
They did: The Wonderful 101.
Platinum already said they had been planning out the sequel to Bayonetta 2. They did the art and had the story all banged out. They wanted to make this game, they just needed someone to support them. I hope it turns out well for Platinum since they really are a great developer and I think the should be rewarded for how much effort and s...
I can capture the future with outdated technology. Check out my DeLorean.
"When users pause a game and access the internet browser, the software will remember the paused game's name and prepopulate search queries with it to help users look for relevant information."
Nice touch
Some good points in this. If the next gen Sony and Microsoft consoles are simply a graphics boost, is that worth it? I'd say no. The big jump last gen was going from SD to HD (also expanding online capabilities). That was a pretty big deal, but to get anywhere near that sort of jump graphically next gen you'd have to lay down a bunch of cash. I honestly think current systems still look amazing so I'm in no rush.
YES, this. I could see that being pretty darn addicting.
Yeah, it does seem like some game journalists want Nintendo to fail. I think it might have something to do with being resentful of how Nintendo doesn't really listen to their fans (or game journalists). Windwaker's art style, the rumble pack, motion control, two screen handheld, two screen console: NO ONE asked for any of that. Nintendo acts like a parent who says "Look, I just spent a long time making this meat loaf. Eat it, you'll like it." While the game journalists t...
Nintendo saw a good developer with a good IP and decided to publish their game since apparently no one else would. I don't see how that could be a slap in the face to fans.

"System-Level Achievements
Some of Nintendo's top game designers don't want to put Achievements in their games, but Nintendo has put an Achievement-like system in the 3DS, mostly to reward people for feats involving the system's Street Pass networking system. In other wo...
I really doubt they'd do that unless you could also install the ram yourself like in the N64. It would segregate their customers too much.
I don't know how it's going to pan out but I think devs will simply develop for the most popular system as long as it's powerful enough. For example the PS2 compared to the Xbox and Gamecube was the weakest but got the most support. Now the 3DS is weaker than the Vita (and before that the DS was weaker than the PSP) yet the 3DS is getting the most support. Developers will get their games published on whatever systems will make them the most money.
Hmmm... That does seem pretty weird, but the game looks great. I'm willing to give Ubisoft the benefit of the doubt until the reviews come in.
I'm pretty sure I'm not reading this wrong. Trinen just said if developers want to put them IN GAME they can. They won't be centralized like they are on the PS3 and 360. But hey, if I'm wrong that's great.
I'll wait to see the Bayonetta 2 reviews before deciding whether or not to buy it. That seems reasonable, right?
"This argument can only be made if you care far more about hardware than software, and that, gamers, is the absolute definition of being a fanboy." That's a great line.
I'm going to have to disagree with you on Japan getting a better launch bundle. If I were in North America I'd be getting the deluxe but since I don't get a full game with the deluxe here maybe my money would be better spent on the white model + game.
