It's MS, they say that about every exclusive. But the reality is that Halo5 will probably not innovate whatsoever and still get a 9.8 from IGN. It's almost guaranteed.
Whoa, why the disagrees? If the image is 1920x900 it is still 1:1 with a 1080p display, it's just cutting out some of the image. So 4x MSAA would have the same effect on the image if it is 1920x900 or 1920x1080. I'm not sure if I was just misunderstood or if people are disagreeing with facts.
Since the game is 1920x900 though, it is still at the native 1080 resolution except without 280 lines on screen. So the AA would have the same effect on the imagine no matter what they decide if they keep 4 MSAA.
I just think that for gaming, the more screen area the better. It would be cool if they would just give the option, then the gamer can decide. I know too much choice is a slippery slope, but just say to gamers, this is how we envisioned it, but if you prefer full 1080p, here's an option for that. If the 280 additional lines impact performance too much, then they can just change the type of AA being used. So do you prefer better AA and a more cinematic approach or slightly worse AA but 108...
Hmm, I wonder if this will be kind of a sci-fi, horror game. I like the setting a lot, it's like Sherlock Holmes era.
Maybe they are giving the option to lock the framerate for Vita. Vita only displays the game at 30fps.
I don't think it's as powerful as a 460gt. It's a 560m gt. It runs really cool so I actually hVe it clocked up about 10%. It handles games like Mass Effect 2 & 3 at 1600 x 900 (monitor res) proficiently enough. I don't bother checking fps it looks and plays smooth so I'm good. I think it will handle Titanfall just fine if it is Source. I'll probably buy a new laptop next year, I usually just get something that will play games alright, but I have been considering a ...
I'm pretty sure it was confirmed a long time ago, besides, it this game were running at 1080p 60 fps. MS would be touting it around like a trophy wife.
Whoa, what's with the low specs and only 720p on XB1? If an 8800GT can run this game, that's just a little higher than the 360. I guess they must really scale the effects on this game, not the res. My 560M laptop should do just fine. I get the feeling this game is not going to be a looker.
I am not convinced it will be a Huge sales driver. The main reason is that the game is on the 360 and PC as well. I don't think it will convince a lot of gamers to plop down $500 for a new system since they can still have the same experience on something they already own. I think there will be a modest spike in sales but that is all. I am going to get this for PC, my PC is somewhere between last gen systems and the xb1, probably closer to the latter. I'm not worried at all about the s...
Isn't Quantum Break like Heavy Rain and Alan Wake? I'm not sure what the genre is called. I hate those games thogh, they bore me to death with absolutely no gameplay. They are more of an interactive storybook than games. So for me, The Order by a wide, wide margin.
Sorry, I read the article and it seems I'm mistaken. It's more like Max Payne I guess. Still, I like the setting and the potential of The Order more at this point. Ready at Dawn has not made a lot ...
MS sure is placing huge bets on this unreleased game. Of course they are also betting that over hyping this game will earn it better review scores. Tag lines like 'reinvention of the fps' and 'game changing' are being thrown around everywhere. That is no mistake, its marketing. I might pick this up on PC, I might not. However, I don't think it will end up being as popular as the hype. A lot of people who play COD and Battlefield do so for the real world settings and milita...
I pretty sure you are not going to find a game that is better than Jesus, but there are some good ones out there.
@lukas - game looks amazing, but they really don't seem to like blondes, haha, all the characters actually look related.
Remixing the disc drive would essentially make the PS4 the better all in one soliton. Why would they do that it? Would they still call it XB1 or maybe the XB0.
Nintendo is definitely talking about expanding their own first party offerings here, this is not a plea to Sony or MS. I do feel like if Nintendo were to merge with one or the other it would more likely be with Sony than MS because they are both Japanese companies. MS could really use Nintendo to expand its brand in the Land of the Rising Sun, but I just don't see Nintendo selling to MS. Nintendo's really value is in its brands, no one has IPs like Nintendo. The strategy will be to ex...
How about I keep my PS3 and all the games and buy a PS4 instead? Same out of pocket expense and I get to keep my PS3! Thanks MS for treating the public like fools again.
PS3 will be better than XB1 for years to come. I have so many games for my PS3, this is about as enticing as trading an ounce of gold for two ounces of silver.
Why the heck would I trade my PS3 for a XB1. The PS3 will have better games for years before the XB1 could possibly out do it.
The first level looked great. The rest of the game looked like Reach.
