I have a Wii U and I currently would not recommend it over another system. It has been out a year and barely has anything on it. You buy consoles for the games that is true but you also buy them for their future prospects. Maybe if they announce Zelda or Metroid will release in 2014. But then I would probably still say wait until x game comes out. Mario 3d world is great and all, but I really don't care for it as much as Galaxy or Galaxy 2.
Last time I checked, Sony still supported and sold PS3s. So your point is what? Get it fixed.
No it really doesn't suck for me. I could buy a new PC today if I really wanted to, but I don't. If I did not have the option to buy a PC, then it could possibly suck for me. I chose to buy a PS4 because it will still be great for multi-platform games and will have exclusive titles. You either are a child or extremely naive to believe that everyone cares about having the best graphics you can get. If I built a $6000 gaming rig I would not get on here just to tell people with $1000 rig...
The title should be, Theif will look better on some PCs than PS4 and Xbox One. I have a laptop with a Nvidia 565M. It will not look better than on PS4.
I'm a Nintendo fan, but I just don't understand the blindness of N fanboys. Nintendo does not have as much money as you think. Much of Nintendo's value is its brands. It's called goodwill. It's not money in the bank. It's the value given to the Nintendo and it's IPs. Nintendo is currently losing money on Wii U. Nintendo has to do something and unlike Sony the big N doesn't have the resources to support a fledging system for very long. Also if Mario and Zelda b...
When your done crying, I just want you to know that nobody cares.
1080p vs 720p makes a big difference on my 46in TV. I'm sorry, but yes it is a big deal if it continues.

I'm not sure where you got those numbers, but I'm assuming that is based off stock holder equity. It doesn't mean Nintendo could buy Sony, it just means that Nintendo has a better asset to liability ratio. Also, the Nintendo brand itself is part of the companies value. Cocacola's brand name is worth over 60 billion last time I checked. Sony is a much bigger organization than Nintendo. I'm sorry to burst your bubble, but Nintendo isn't t...
Sony is not going to help out Nintendo without some sort of deal. While Sony probably has a lot of respect for Nintendo, they are still competitors. I would like to see Sony and Nintendo strike a 3rd party deal with Nintendo staying an independent developer, but as long As 3DS continues to do well, I don't see that happening. The handheld systems are the real barrier between Nintendo and Sony. I think it's more likely that Nintendo would go multiplatform for console games, deal with ...
Nintendo is still doing okay financially, but something needs to change fast for that to remain to be true. Nintendo has four options if Wiiu doesn't start selling:
All four choices assume Wii U is discontinued early due to poor sales
1. Release a new system mid gen (Deamcast style, probably not a good option)
2. Go 3rd party
3. Focus soley on handhelds
4. Find a new nitch in the videogames market
Maybe, I am not convinced it will be Zelda because I don't expect a Zelda game for a long while. I may be wrong but some recent interviews suggest Zelda U has not been in development al that long. Nintendo will likely announce something they can put a date with. Sadly, even a Zelda announcement cannot save Wii U. I am not really sure anything short of a miracle could at this point. I have owned every Nintendo home console, I held on to the Wii when everyone else was selling theirs, I bel...
As a long time Nintendo fan, I have to admit the big N is quickly becoming irrelevant. This is the second gen that Nintendo will be nearly a gen behind tech wise. I just don't think Nintendo has another console in them. I look for Nintendo to focus only on handhelds and portables in the near future. I would prefer If they just started making games for PS4, but it's not going to happen.
Console receive optimization a because of the standardized hardware, not because it is a different architecture than PC. PC could be optimized but there are too many configurations to optimize them all.
Nostalgia is something that you experience more from your childhood memories. My guess is that you were older with PS3. The last games that hold Nostalgia for me were on the N64.
If the game gives me adaquate content for 60 and they wait at least two months before dlc, I'm fine. What ticks me off is when they try to sell you content as soon as you buy the game. Also, dlc can sometimes ruin the game because it makes you too powerful. Throw the whole balance off, but gamers can't resist. It's like modern day cheat codes.
Wow, forget the flying cars, graphics look terrible in that vid.
I have played a lot on vita remote play and I have to say that I am not disappointed at all. The Wii u only works with some games so while they might say the experience is ultimately better. Of it doesn't work for the game you want to play what good is it?
I hate it when they talk like those games can only be done on our system. It doesn't matter if it's Sony or MS, there is no reason Ryse can't run on PS4. Just like KZ could run on XB1. There would just be some optimization and upgrades/downgrades respectively.
The PS3 still had stronger sales than the Wii U. It was also evident that Sony was committed to the PS3 success. Also there were plenty of articles highlighting the PS3s struggles. The Wii U launched first. The other consoles should be playing catch up to the Wii U, not the other way around. PS4 and XB1 will likely both surpass Wii U lifetime sales by Q3 of 2014 or faster. There is little good news for the Wii U. Mario is not really selling the system and interest in the system is diminishing...
