I'm really looking forward to seeing more of ths game. I am a little skeptical of the wide screen 2:1 (I'm guessing) ratio. I would rather the game fit my entire TV screen, but I understand the cinematic appeal. I just hope it is only used for the cinema portions.
Depends on the PC, you guys act like just any PC can do this when the majority of PCs that are sold today have integrated graphics. Please clarify what kind of PC can run 4000k and 120 fps.
Closing studios and forcing them to work on crap for Kinect is two different things. Business is business, the developers should be allowed to make the games they feel passionate about. That is what makes great games. Maybe my emotions came out a little because Rare was my favorite dev back in the N64 days. I'm not going to say that Sony is perfect and only MS has bad practices, but from everything I have seen and heard, Sony did not force any studios to make games for Move.
The video compression makes it impossible to really compare. The only differences I can really pick out are during the car selection segments. It looks like the shadowing is a bit different and maybe the AA method might be a little different. The PS4 seems to have a slight edge in the shadowing department, but that is just what I'm seeing with my eyes in this crappy video.
What does it matter? I mean does it really change the story or gameplay if you do not get to see some boobies? I prefer games leave out sex scenes and overused profanity myself. Even the violence doesn't have to be so grotesque as it is in Ryse, perhaps they should have focused on more important things like gameplay.
I hate MS, at least Sony treats their first parties right. I have never heard from geurilla or naughty dog that Sony makes than do this or that. I think they pretty much get to make their own decisions. I am sure there is some approval process, but let the devs do there jobs and you typically end up with the better product.
I personally liked the PS3 cases. The clear plastic just looks classier. Ps4 in 2nd with blue. Green is an awful color for game cases but the xb1 is nicer than the 360.

Grabbing at straws? Even if xbox one manages to out do ps4 here in the US, which is possible, the ps4 will still win worldwide. Especially since everyone kind of hates the US right now for the NSA stuff.
I really am satisfied with PS3 graphics for the most part. But if you want me to buy a 'NEXT-GEN' system, yes I would like it to be powerful enough to run more effects and higher resolutions at a solid frame rates. If it can't at least do that why would I pay $500.00 for it. From what I have seen so far, this makes the PS4 the Next Gen system for me. Well that and I really dislike MS.
I guess to get someone to agree I should have said, the ratio is probably more like 10:1. Xbox One totally sucks! Haha. Anyway I have had my ps4 preordered since June.
Mystical ninja and Quest 64 just liked to tease us that N64 did not have a proper RPG. Loved the system, Nintendo has never been the same since.
If Sony marketed all their products as well as they have the PS4, they would probably not be losing money each quarter. Of course, making better movies would help too.
While I am fairly sure the ps4 is handily beating the xb1 in terms of preorders. The 5:1 ratio seen here probably varies a lot depending on location. I expect the real ratio is probably not quite that bad.
This is a dumb question. The current consoles have eached a point where they are holding back the industry. This upgrade will allow the industry to try new things. If anything the ease of development will help make the industry more profitable. There's also the graphics.
This is one of the features I am most excited about.
Unless devs start bringing more console only content to PC, I do not see how this changes anything. Many of the games that I play on consoles are never released on PC. There are very few AAA titles on PC that are not brought to consoles. Last of all even if MS starts to bring more xb games to PC as they have suggested they will, I seriously doubt they will support steam as now that have made themselves an indirect competitor.
You know it's going to be bad when you get previews like this. This is basically lowering expectations so that your not so shocked when the game gets a 5-6/10.
Not really, I buy consoles for the exclusives. If I only bought games that were on PC and consoles I would get a PC.
Maybe not, but this is really the first gen where the two biggest competitors are releasing consoles at the same time. PS2 and Xbox 360 both launched ahead of the comp. Everything should be looked at in context, not just one point, because that doesn't tell the whole story. Not only that but PS4 seems to have the momentum from PS3 right now. I predict a close gen like last time, but ultimately I think the PS4 will start ahead and stay ahead, especially if we are talking worldwide and not ...
