If they must, what Microsoft REALLY needs to do to justify the cost, be that $50 or $100, is give the user back the same value in MSpoints or give them enough content to equal. With the rate that games come out on XBLA, if Microsoft chose one game a month to give free (but charge silvers) then the price would hurt much less.

The ONLY hard metric that determines how well a product does is how it sells. All the artistic and technological considerations amount to jack sh!t in the real world. It's incredible how often people lose sight of that in their fanboyish fury.
I think it's very funny how everyone criticizes Microsoft for banking so heavily on Halo, even though it's a strategy that drums up more support for one franchise than Sony sees all year. I hate to say it, but this is not the age of original IP. We are in a recession after all. The safe play is the smart play.

Honestly, I'm ready to admit that 360's lineup was less than stellar this year. But I didn't feel the hurt that everyone expected me to feel. I mean, the games I own have such staying power that it didn't bother me that much. I got my Halo: Generic RTS and my Halo: Generic Semi-Tactical Shooter, Gamefly is getting me Forza 3 today, and COD:MW2 is showing up soon. I'm not going to be mopey about it if I'm happy with the games I have to play.

Honestly... this is the TV station's fault. I have seen this feature demoed sucessfully. So, I wouldn't be so quick to jump to conclusions that Microsoft is at fault.

@AKNAA: On the weapon capacity, they took a page from Halo on that one. There is strategy in choosing your weapons, and giving you more weapon capacity won't necessarily make it better. Maybe easier, but you will miss out on the challenge of making the wrong weapon work in a bad situation.
I have out predicted Pachter on a regular basis. He said the 60 GB upgrade for the 360 would push more than PS3 in that month. I predicted to the contrary... PS3 would outsell 360 despite a minor sales bump. Which it did. The normal non-blog following consumer won't know about the upgrade.
Long story short, Pachter is usually wrong when he makes a statement that turns heads, and he even misses some of the most elementary predictions. The only predictions he can hit consisten...
Try using Facebook on your PS3. As it is right now, the main page of Facebook won't even load in the PS3 browser. Really. WILL NOT LOAD. Go try it. Please, I need a laugh this morning. Just because PS3 has a browser doesn't mean it's intuitive in the slightest. It doesn't mean it even WORKS.
