This controller will never take off. They're trying to reinvent the wheel. They said the controller's meant to basically provide an experience like a mouse on a controller, but you can already use a mouse and keyboard with the Steam Box, so why even bother?
I dunno why you're celebrating, since those exclusives are gonna STAY in Japan. VNs are not a genre that has any kind of meaningful fanbase in America to warrant localization.
Visual novels are HUGE business in Japan, with titles like the Fate and When they Cry series being classics with even anime adaptations. The outrage stems from it being a mostly PC genre and forcing Japanese gamers to not only have to get a console, but also a console that will underperform in Japan. It's kind of naive to expect AAA titles free on Plus on a brand-new system. It'll take at least a year after release before we start seeing that, since you gotta give titles the chance to sell.
And the indie library on PS4 is pretty damn good. I sure as hell am not complaining.
I'm just glad a company actually made an FPS for us FPS fans that HATE multiplayer. I hate multiplayer-oriented FPSs and love sprawling, single-player ones, like Bioshock, Fallout, Dishonored and Metro. I'm LOVING Wolfenstein so far. Not only is it a fun, old-school shooter, it also has a genuinely compelling story.

I sadly have to say that Dead Space is dead in the water at this time. EA did their fucking meddling and ruined it for us. Which breaks my heart, cause for me, the first Dead Space is THE BEST survival horror game of the last generation, hands down. It took Resident Evil 4's gameplay, gave it a massive overhaul and had a story reminiscent of horror classics like Alien and the Cthulhu Mythos.

Remasters are usually a hit-or-miss affair with me. Some I think are unnecessary and others I think are very much asked for. The Last Of Us, for example, I think is a great idea. Exciting news! I see a major shift towards supporting the PS brand over other electronics, so I think we'll see some great announcements down the line. And I don't wanna sound like a broken record, but I thin we'll definitely see a price drop before the Christmas season.
The Kinectless Bone isn't really too much of a threat for the PS4, but a price-dropped PS4 is DEFINITELY a threat to the Bone. It would win Sony the Christmas season decisively, Microsoft might never get close to competing again.
I'm leaning on the latter. I'm thinking the price drop will happen between September and (most likely) Black Friday. Sony would dominate the Christmas season if that happened.
