You're missing the point, dude. This series isn't about story or gameplay variety, it's about flashy combat pitting ubermensches against poor mooks, huge amounts of characters with VERY distinct personalities and loads of content. It is cathartic and entertaining. This series is actually what could be considered the modern incarnation of games like Double Dragon and Final Fight. Sure, those games didn't have much in the way of story or variety, but they delivered what they pro...
Dark Souls.
Just throwing it out there.
I'm excited for Destiny because it's a game that's gonna GROW, and people complaining about the beta need to realize that a beta is purposely lacking in features and repetitive because its purpose is testing game stability. We only had a handful of missions and weapons in one area of the game, the actual game has an entire solar system to explore. The fact the game has MMO mechanics while still fully playable single player excites me, too, and it's unlike Borderlands in that p...
@Vitalogy My guess is that each update improves stability as new games are added, since new games will add new data the system needs to process, and game patches might fix features within the game but not without. Also, features like PSN and Playstation Now also use system resources in ways that can affect stability. The fact that the system also disallows network features until new updates are added also makes me think there's anti-piracy measures involved too.

First of all, 1 million in one month for ANY game, let alone a remaster, is great sales. Second of all, your math sucks, cause 1 million is 10% of 10 million. Any game being bought by 10% of the user base is a success. Especially when 10% of the PS4 user base is equal to 33% of the XB1 user base.
"Thank you for using Atlus Railways, we appreciate your patronage! Next stop: made of awesome and win!"
If you're implying that Compile are sitting down with their thumb up their ass, then I think you'd better see the latest trailer, cause the game has done a MASSIVE spike in graphics quality, the kind of jump that takes a whole lotta work. Plus the new trailer showcases Beck using the enemies' abilities too. Plus they're working on the new Gunvolt game and possibly another Neptunia game, too, which is a lot of work for a small team.
So the Pre-Sequel is more Borderlands and pretty much nothing else.
And this is bad how?
The Final Fantasy series basically sells on name recognition and habit these days. The series' fans will just gobble them up no matter how shit they are, and salivateat the "awesome" designs by Tetsuya Nomura, designs that look like they put a basement-dwelling compulsively masturbating hikkikomori, a bath of estrogen, ten boxes of zippers and a bunch of new age quartz collars into Seth Brundle's teleportation machine and flicked the switch
Seriously, the a...
Squeenix have this distorted idea that they can sell games on the level of a Grand Theft Auto or something. They set retardedly high sales projections for their games, then bitch when the games "underperform" when they're actually selling quite well. Case in point, the latest Tomb Raider, which they said was a sales disappointment after having sold 3 MILLION copies by then. How a game selling that well is a disappointment can only be explained by rampant overestimation. This als...
"Never have I seen the management of a company squander the talent of so many developers at said company."
Konami and ESPECIALLY Capcom are guilty of this, too. Konami is basically standing on Metal Gear and nothing else, while Capcom has basically driven the entirety of their creative geniuses on their own endeavors away from the company, while they brutally exploit their remaining faithful employees to the point of actual physical exhaustion. It's like Capcom&...
As if I needed any more reason to hate the direction Squeenix's taken in the last few years.
The graphics look nice and all, but the character movement looks awkward as hell. You can tell it has tank movement controls like Resident Evil, which doesn't seem a very good choice for a hack-and-slash dungeon crawler.

I'd add the last battle theme from Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne. Awesomely atmospheric, but the boss is a BREEZE compared to all the crap you had to do to get to him, especially if you decided to be an absolute masochist and fight against the Fiends. Even the Fiends you're forced to fight as part of the story(Matador, Trumpeter and Hell Biker) are LEAGUES harder t...
Not only that, Activision is doing all the TV advertising for the game under the PS4 banner, and all the big trailers and announcements in the trade shows have been on Sony's conference. Activision is basically favoring Sony more now because of both the better sales numbers on the PS4 and cause EA is basically in bed with Microsoft now, with EA being obviously Activision's main competitor. Advanced Warfare is not getting publicized as much for PS4 cause COD has more fans on the Micros...
This isn't remotely sexy or even titillating. Her plastic, shiny face on the grotesquely over-endowed body makes her look like a premium-price sex doll. Plus, let's be honest, this game looks like crap graphically. The PS3 handles better graphics than these.
Notice that we're nearing the 1-year mark for the PS4. My guess is that we'd been getting a few mediocre games, cause Sony is saving that money to finally give us AAA titles for the PS4's anniversary.
And yeah, this month's been slim pickings, but Joe Danger is super fun, and Velocity 2X is AWESOME, almost like a current-gen The Guardian Legend.
It IS worth mentioning that it beat the launch of the game on a more established console by 500k units. It means that people are already embracing getting the PS4 version of games over the previous gen's, which is a great sign. And 49% of the game's sales on PS4, too, it's obviously th3 console of choice for this game.
Maybe they shouldn't be running their company like blithering idiots and make their stock actually be worth something.
I detect a certain vibe of xenophobia coming from the higher-ups in Squeenix, they're willing to gladly throw mountains of cash at their Japanese dev teams, who are making SHIT games, yet their western dev teams, who are making the actual critically acclaimed and financially successful games and pretty much actually sustaining the entire company, get ...
@Bloodborn Jeez. MS should just go qnd put a clause on its employment contracts that any MS employee renounces their right to Twitter accounts. Every time one of them opens their mouth, like fifty feet spring in.
