We have now found which product to not buy at all to show Squeenix our displeasure for the FF7 troll. Seriously, f*ck Squeenix and f*ck Final Fantasy 13. It's the best izllustration of everything that is wrong with the company.
Doubtful. The only reason SF5 is Sony console-exclusive is because Sony put money down for the game to get made and they were open to PC crossplay. As terrible as the Resident Evil series has gotten, it still sells well on all platforms. Same thing with Devil May Cry.
Birdie, Karin and Rainbow Mika were all part of my mains back in SFA3. I'd cry tears of joy if they brought them back. Sodom, too.
Squeenix's wording of whether Tomb Raider's coming to PS4 or not is as clear as their wording of FF7 for PS4: not at all and the evidence proved that in the long run it's a disappointment.
I'm positve that Microsoft will come out next year guns blazing with some great games, but they are NOT taking the lead away from Sony. Sony just has a ridiculously powerful lead and, while 2014 was kinda lackluster, it honestly was for both consoles. 2015 has a huge amount of waited-for exclusives coming for the PS4, like The Order and Bloodborne, and PS Plus will finally start delivering on the AAA titles, which will be a huge deal as well.
CD Projekt Red is a studio that makes game with RIDICULOUSLY high production values and quality for being so small a team. I sure as hell won't begrudge them taking more time to make a game when their track record has proven that they always use that extra time to make a game as close to perfection as possible.
What I AM salty about, though, is the lack of info on Cyberpunk 2077. It's been almost 2 years since the teaser, at least give us a heads-up that the game'...
I find the lack of masculine perfection that is Kazuma Kiryu disturbing. How can you get manlier than a cigarette-smoking, whisky-drinking, mook-destroying former criminal who only sheds tears for the death of a friend and then proceeds to a enge said friend by curb-stomping everybody on his way? A man whose words are the manliest of poetry in the manliest of baritone? A man on whose back is tattooed a dragon as fierce as his soul?
Yeah, I'm kind of a Yakuza fan.
Because of fan loyalty. Yakuza fans are as diehard about their franchise as Dark Souls fan.
@tiffac008, Heavenly King: Fistbump, guys. Tojo Clan 4 life :) Me, I've got all the ones released here in the US, and the Yakuza series is amongst my top 5 favorite game series ever. Few games give you so much gameplay for the money or as much gameplay variety. there's just so much stuff to do in them. Sidequests, items to find and build, minigames, new moves to learn... and since Yakuza 4, the multiple player characters give you so much more to do.
You must be living under a rock, cause Yakuza 3 and 4 did come out here, and they sell well enough. They're not major blockbusters like... ugh... Sonic, but the Yakuza series has one of the most hardcore and dedicated fandoms there is. We're talking Dark Souls level of fan loyalty.
I'm amazed how people are making a big stink out of this and they don't say crap about pretty much the entire roster of the Dead Or Live series. Double standard much? Seriously. So Lucky Chloe's a goofy, Japanese-oriented fan-servicey character. WHAT AN AFFRONT TO US PLAYERS, HOW DARE THEY?! It's not like there's over 40 other characters in the roster to choose from and you can just ignore her, right?
I for one think Harada's well within his right to s...
@sonypsnow Really? How am I supposed to be excited about a 17 year-old game being re-released in the exact same shape it was before? I can already get the game from the PS1 classics. Whoever wanted to play the game CAN play the game, they don't have to wait for the PS4 version. Not only that, the fact it's a straight port means the game's old-timey flaws and antiquated mechanics are gonna stick out kike a sore thumb.
Square Enix keeps showing a contempt for their ...
That's exactly the attitude we need, dude. This is a series in which our dollar speaks volumes towards it getting localized. The Sonic series is still alive cause both parents and kids are dumb, but Yakuza subsists off a much more mature audience and is much more resource-intensive to make and localize, so we need to support it as much as possible to keep it coming.
South America, especially someplace like Mexico, Nicaragua or El Salvador. One set in Mexico against Los Zetas or La Mara would be twenty shades of kickass.
Microsoft started it. That's all I'm gonna say about that.
This and the announcement of Ultra SF4 as PS4 exclusive tells me two things: 1. Sony put money down for SF5 to get made, like Nintendo did with Bayonetta 2, and 2. Capcom must really be doing badly to accept the deal. Yoshinori Ono had said that there were no resources for a fighting game on new-gen consoles, I guess this proves that was actually true.
I have to give all the props to Sony for allowing the game for PC too, though. If they put money down for the game to get mad...
You know, the fact that there WAS the glitch is proof that this is ACTUAL gameplay footage and not mocked up, so color me impressed.
This looks more like a new-gen Doom than the actual Doom will be. And I mean that as the most sincerest praise, this looks fun as hell.
I only resent Sony for giving this conference time, but Square Enix are the ones that deserve all the scorn. Besides, with Yakuza 5, Ultra SF4, SF5 and Day Of the Tentacle, Sony has ALL my good will right now.
And that is why this guy has only one bubble.
