I understand the need for a game rating system concerning children,just like the MPAA for movies.
As a parent,I dont want my 5 year old buying...most of the games in my collection.
As a adult,I dont think its any of the goverments business what type of pixelated violence I enjoy.

L4D is the only one ive played online for any real length of time.
The whole "support one another and get to the end" is more fun to me than:

Well,MW2 is a popular title. Odds are they might want it anyway and that makes the decision to step up easier.
Or they can shop the other Xbox options starting at $200 or look at a PS3 like you said.
I for one am not buying MW2. Dont need to as my buddy is a big MW fan.I'll just borrow his down the road, and he will borrow my L4D2 and Bioshock 2.

Sure its a smaller market. Its a "Limited Edition", they arent gonna sell as many of these as the other SKU's.

How many times has it come up here that a 360 actually WASNT cheaper though? If you factor LIVE costs,adding wifi..etc
IF..IF you wanted this and that and this with your 360 to try to equate more than what the PS3 may have standard.
So it cant be just about the money right? It cant be just about the "value" of what features come in the box.
I already stated if your a "hardware features" guy, the PS3 is the best bang for your buck.

I would be very surprised if Sony doesnt have a Uncharted 2 and/or GOW bundle available by the holiday season.

Yeah the thing about the controllers is a good point. They go with a HD design thats "mainstream", so you can buy them cheaper,but then they dont make the controllers batteries replaceable?
So I pay maybe $50 more down the road from one camp to upgrade my HD or I pay $50 from the other when the Lith Ion battery starts to crap out.

If you are the type that wants to buy a system that has the most features ON PAPER, then the PS3 has probably been the best value this gen...even at launch. How much were Bluray players then?
But after almost what? 3 years? The market has shown that even for a mere $100 over a 360, some people would rather have a 360. It doesnt make people who choose this route uninform...
Is the Wii overpriced? Or did its huge sales force MS and Sony to underprice theirs prematurely? Up untill very recently,the percieved value for many was that that the Wii was the best value.Doesnt matter that the competitors feature for feature,make it look like like a stripped economy car.

Actually its a neat feature to have in all honesty. But why bring it up in such a way in a discussion about this new 250gb 360 bundle? The desired effect was to downplay the 360 plain and simple.

Tack on a extra controller and the game with that PS3 and your looking at basically the same money.

Anyway..I dont think they will have problems finding buyers for this.
I have a feeling by this time next week,you will see MS doing plenty of advertising to the masses.No need to spread large reaching exposure for somthing you cant buy yet.
