I bought the game a few days ago. I found the lack of any basic this is how you get started....frustrating. But I joined a crew, and they gave me all the basics I need. The game is fun. It's not non stop pew pew pew. If you want that, don't buy it. The human element makes the game interesting. You have a ton of loot..do you stop to get more and risk being jumped or turn it in? It's set up to encourage co op which I like.
In this day and age with 150 dollar elite controllers and 800 dollar smart phones selling well, yeah it can succeed . It doesn't mean I will be at Best Buy on Nov 7th, but I like the option of having it.
My daughter keeps hinting she would love the Xbox one in her room. But if I take the plunge and buy another, I might just get a S for the game room. I need to see a game running on the X in person on a 4k tv to see if it's worth the extra coin.
I don't have a 4k tv in my game room, so I'm not picking one up Nov 7. I see the value in the system, but not enough for me to take the plunge at this time.
I thought the elite controller was expensive when it was announced and people bought it. It's not like you can't spend just 200 and play the same games on a Xbox one s if price is everything...so I don't see the big deal. The budget gamer can still play and the graphics freak can get their console on.
My 12 year old went nuts when I gave her my NES I bought in 87. I need to go ahead and reserve one. Now I find the headline a bit sensational. Its a inexpensive plug and play device that isn't expandable. Not to be compared to a modern console.
Saw a news report this morning that some estimate pulling this movie will cost Sony up to 100 million. I dont see how anyone can write a article that its positive Sony news.
No Twisted Metal II?
Cool. I was going to buy Worms anyway.
I got a Dance Central Spotlight code free today. My kids playing it now.
Yeah..ive checked two different Targets since the promotion began on multiple days for my daughter and no luck.
The only advertising for this game since the Playstation launch was the Cheetoes promotion with Target.. (and I couldnt find any specialty marked bags for the free dlc).
The whole bomb thing brings it to a whole new level. Could be talking DECADES not years lol.
Spoken like someone else in the car biz :) . Excellent post.
Invoice on a raptor is in the low 40s. Its not a regular F150. Ford dealers wish they had only 27k in them!
Yeah the tossable light cars can be made into track terrors. I love my Datsun 510 too. Its very nasty and looks so unasuming. But the best part is watching the replay and see a Beetle destroy Ferrari's lol.
63 Bug returns...cool. Never noticed a VW Microbus will be in the game too untill now.
I heard they test marketed a " rice cake and tofu" supply drop but it didnt make the cut. But seriously...think of the demographic they are going for.
Not what I expected. I thought it was examples like Mario who actually was the villain in a game.
I like the pacing of the game. Meet new crew members, always looking over your shoulder during quests, etc.team play is paramount. Now I can see others hating it. 20 minutes of sailing somewhere and nothing happens...will occur. I THINK money just buys skins crap and no leveling up to badass status will happen. But a level playing field makes it interesting too. It feel like they will add more later. I will also concede it should have been a 30 or 40 dollar title.
