I just got my own account on LIVE for the first time as I now have DSL that just became available (Hughesnet + online gaming = it better be turn based).
Im quite happy with the LIVE service and its...$40-$50 a year depending on where you get it. Wow....Some here dropped 6 hundred bucks for a game system and I read flack about 40 bucks???

I hate hypotheticals like this Q being posed. Especially considering all the eductated guestimates on how many 360 copies they already peddled compared to everything else.
Nobody could really know though right? Maybe it would be better as its developed with only one platform in mind.Maybe its flawed and corners are cut, because its developed by a third party with only one platform in mind (that has the lowest installed base).
Ive played the demo on Steam and LIVE. I think the graphics are a little better and so is the ragdoll animations.
Looking forward to picking this up as im still enjoying L4D after 11 months or so.
The whole co-op thing has me totally sucked in.

I was very happy to see L4D get the top billing.I mean the intro isnt just some cool cut scene with action,humor, and great "camera work". Its got a movie style theme that rivals most actual action movies IMO, but the game actually kinda PLAYS like the intro suggests too and they hint at all that in this intro.
Stay together,funny comments (if you use the mike like I do),plans of attack (that need to be made quickly),often odds that may seem or even be overwhelming...etc
Do they have permission to have those cars in the game? First pic I saw shows a Honda Fit and what looks like the back of a Nissan Altima.
And they dont look "just different enough" aka GTA games.

L4D is very playable on my laptop,but I have to lower a few settings to get a good framerate.
Has anyone used a 360 controller with their PC to play it? Im more comfortable with the controller.
Well ive had my 360 for two years. This week I was FINALLY able to retire the satelite internet for DSL that just became available (at roughly HALF the cost)! I dont have alot of experience at all in what PSN offers,but I really am enjoying the LIVE service.

Im sure it cant be Twisted Metal.Sony owns the rights to that game even if the original group that created it bailed (thats why Twisted Metal III was so awful).

Same here Panda.I dont know how many hours ive played it,but its alot more than GTAIV,and that game tells me ive played it over 35 hours.

Yeah RE5 was beautiful to look at,good story,and was fun.
But the ackward controls really turned me off. And what was with the default "gun aim" speed being about as quick as a tank turret??
I had to crank that up to "fastest" just to make it playable.
But ive played with quite a few females since ive been on. The ladies like L4D!
