I don't know man... the zombies in Thriller could do choreographed dancing. That's a sign of intelligence.

... they had some quick moves as well.

... rush it?

I was under the impression that people asking for a new consoles are just going by the actual timeline.
The past gens were roughly 6 years long, which puts the next gen at 2012-2013.

"Sony confirmed that while the creator is no longer working as an employee, he is finishing the upcoming The Last Guardian on a contract basis, and is "committed to completing" the project."

From the article itself.
I don't see how they're jumping to any 'gloom and doom' conclusion.

^ He meant Uncharted is 50% custscenes. It was pretty clear to see that as well.

Also, stating other linear games doesn't take away from the fact that Uncharted is still linear.
As great as the Uncharted series is, it does lack the kind of emotional attachment that games like Ico and SOTC bring. So it isn't a fair comparison to compare TeamICO with ND. (... and this is ignoring the actual size of the development teams)

Heh, actually took me a second to realize that those were screens instead of car windows.

Cool setup.

Get out of here Stalker.

... No please, come back. I was kidding.

Not many people in the US have much care for the actual show itself either.

You mean... the overpowered mess that they were in BF2?
Yea, let's not do a repeat of that.

There's a TF2 rip-off as well (actually, it rips off some of BF:Heroes too)

What about Starhawk?

I don't normally go for multiplayer shooters on consoles, but Starhawk looks pretty interesting.

... I don't know why they picked Bioware.

.. but I do know that the teaser/trailer they showed looked pretty awesome. I thought it was pre-rendered CGI.

Maybe they should let Criterion do a C&C game. Those guys have an appetite for fast-paced destruction.

Not sure what you're trying to get at by implying that Stalker isn't a good game.
If something has all the features you want, then how can it not be a 'good' game?

You don't see bullet points on the back of a game's cover saying 'This is a good game', rather, you see them list the features in the game.
So you better modify your imagine list...
Otherwise, you'll end up with the game you imagined, but would end up not ...

"Imagine this.
And open world, not huge, not tiny.
A sense of danger every where you go, there is no cars to drive, the streets are dangerous and thought must be put into every decision you make."

You mean, imagine Stalker, except not as a FPS?

Whatever it is, I hope it isn't like Uncharted with zombies/infected. The whole 'cinematic' thing that UC does is nice, but leaves little replay value. If they're going to be f...

Bugs are easier to swallow if the rest of the game overshadows it.

Both RDR and Skyrim were, IMO, pretty good games. Yes, they had their share of bugs, but when the scales are weighed, the good trumps the bad by a big margin.
The bugs are also easier to excuse when you consider the scale of both Skyrim and RDR.

It should also be noted that not all bugs are due to software. Most large open-world games tend to have their share of bugs, and some of those...
