"I want Sony to be the first to next gen, this way it leaves them completely open to be crushed by Microsoft with a better system."
... You mean like last gen? O.o
... which tools?
Sony dropping out would be them conceding defeat, and the mean media bullies that you've imagined inside your head would've won.
"My point is the fact that you don't need a new console to have a great time with games"
That's true, but how is that a point against announcing a next-gen console?
The argument for next-gen isn't that the current hardware can't provide a good time, rather, it's that the newer hardware will provide a better time.
Hopefully the beta starts soon.
I'm tired of the early beta code mocking me every time I open UC3's case.
L4D isn't a 360 exclusive though.
You appear to have it backwards methinks; preteen boys are usually the one to find boobs disgusting.
You know, cooties and all that.
Starhawk is estimated at August?
That's too far away. =(
^ Oh snap, the players have their names over their heads.
Total Uncharted/Gears rip off, right?
/s
It's a TPS game with multiplayer. So obviously it'll share similarities with other games of the same genre.
Calling it a rip off at this stage is just silly.
They're not trying to convince others, they're trying to convince themselves.
... or how about Snake?
Well, in that case, the God of War series doesn't need a fourth installment either. =/
I never managed to get my hands on SyphonFilter2, so this'll be a good opportunity to go back in time.
I wasn't disappointed with GTA IV.
The characters were well-developed, the world was detailed, and I felt the overall story was pretty good as well.
However, unlike the past GTA games where I spent hours faffing about, IV didn't have me coming back for more after the main story was done.
^ What about Amnesia?
LPB2 doesn't even get a nomination?
=(
^ Instead of waiting, why not read the article?

"Sony's failure to capitalize on user content-focused titles is even more disappointing given how wide open the field is. The Wii's barebones approach to online gaming makes it virtually impossible to cultivate the kind of community LittleBigPlanet has, and Microsoft has firmly established its intent to charge gamers for every piece of downloadable content it can."

C'mon man, joined less than 10 minutes ago and blatantly trolling already?
Quick learner, you are.
^ That discrepancy is due to a multitude of reasons.
Some of them being that the game is regularly on steam sales for less than $3. Coupled with the relatively low hardware requirement and it's high rating, most people end up buying it eventually. I've ended up buying it three times due to bundles.
So sales discrepancy loses some significance when one platform has a lot more potential customers, and when the pricing is also different.
As for CoD, as a...
That's kinda like saying that the only people who take CoD seriously are 360 owners.
Apple's dominance is mostly due to its brand name. They know how to advertise their products and they also know how to tailor products to their target audience.
For example, I've met people that seem to think that only iPhone has 'apps' and all those other features that most smartphones also have.
Anyways, the problem is, Apple's philosophy isn't something that rings with most 'core' gamers. Their target audience has never really been g...
