Games haven't made me violent... or well, I'm usually one of the more calmer people in my circle of friends.
Despite playing games like Doom as a kid.
... but I have become less empathetic to human suffering (not sure if it's the right word)
Images of violence and bloodshed don't really phase me as much as they would have if I hadn't already seen similar things in a game
On the plus side, I'm less jumpy though because o...
Nostalgia is a hell of a drug.
... politically correct as in using defibrillators instead of 'phoenix downs'?
^ StarCraft2 was last year I believe.
I'm not sure what the obsession is with 'blockbuster' titles though. A small game like Terraria is more fun than some blockbusters.
... oh, and Minecraft was released this year as well. (And is also a blockbuster) ;)
Interesting. No-one appears to have reported the article yet either.
Perhaps y'should do that too to get a mod's attention.
"Yes there is, there is one thing that will always make the PC the superior platform. We are talking about mods, but not just mods. We are talking about graphics mods."
No. =.=
Graphics mods are nice, but they're the lowest tier of mods.
Mods that improve/add to the gameplay, fix gameplay issues, and mods that convert the game into a new experiences are much better than mods that simply improve visuals.
Eh, Skype eats up a bit too much bandwidth due to its fanciness.
Allowing consoles to connect to teamspeak or mumble servers would probably be the better way to go.
There's the Stalker series as well.
Hopefully the interest in open-world games makes people try Stalker2 (whenever it comes out)
What about 'No Russian'?
Mostly for the ending. Didn't see that coming.
They've done it before... and I never win. =(
Oh well, I can still nurture some hope.
Yea, they'd probably be more open to supporting the 360 due to its existing popularity.
That, and they'll still be making a fair deal from XBL on the 360, so that leaves them with some incentive to not kill it off immediately.
Nintendo held the patent, but I think it expires soon. (Or maybe it already has expired)
"My final concern is if it's 60fps or not. Which isn't a deal breaker at all, just a nice bonus."
Would be deal breaker for me.
You can't really have fast-paced gameplay at 30fps, and that's really what DMC is (was?) about.
... and the new Dante is a concern because the old everything-is-a-joke dante was kind of why DMC had an appeal (outside of the gamelay itself). The new Dante is much more of a serious-man and well, seems ...
It's inevitable either ways.
... that, and it's hypocrisy on the part of most 'haters' to bash CoD's antics but then go on to support other companies that use similar tactics.
If their favourite game had a subscription which would entitle them to free DLC, then they'd probably be praising it instead.
The 'washed out look' isn't a characteristic of the engine.
It's just (poor?) design choice by the devs.
... was not expecting that.
Then again, I wasn't paying full attention and thought an ad had started playing midway through the trailer.
Space. Space. I want to go to space.
Hey Bobby. Bobby. Bo-Bobby. Let's go to space.
Halo and Killzone are post-apocalyptic shooters?
That's news to me.
What does Nintendo have to do? Practically everyone who wanted a Wii has grabbed one by now.
They're moving on to the next gen.
Err... motion based peripherals aren't new to PCs (eg. Razor Hydra)
That, and I don't think the Kinect would be restricted to gaming only on PC.
