If you have to use something as irrational as "Oh, they must all be blind fans" to explain why something is doing well, then there's most likely a flaw in your logic.
If you don't like how MS is treating you, then vote with your wallet and go elsewhere. That's when MS will see decreasing profits and might actually change their strategy. Crying about them online isn't going to hurt them.
For now, they aren't fee...
^ He's actually saying that the Witcher2 should come to consoles because each platform has its charm, so the console version will play differently.
Also, the jump from 30fps to 60+ fps usually changes how a game ends up playing.
The fact that they're doing well means that their customers are happy.
If their fanbase is sticking by them, then obviously MS is doing something right.
^ Why would a mod necessarily be something that ruins the experience?
Look at a game like STALKER, where the mods have actually turned the game into a much better experience than the vanilla game.
RAGE was good, but the ending left me disappointed.
Might've fit Metal Gear Rising better due to the name similarity.
Pretty good work on the trailer though.
... but last-gen, devs didn't really have the luxury of patches anyways.
Games were also smaller, so there was less room for error. Glitches still existed though.
Not anticipating Dust 514 means you're a closed minded anti-gamer desperately clinging to Sony hatred?
... Well damn, I better start liking Dust514 then.
There is a middle-ground that I've seen some developpers use (such as DICE with BC2 and Tripwire with any of its games)
What it is is that all playable content is free... so maps and new weapons. However, cosmetic DLC is paid.
What's the point you ask? Basically, the game's community doesn't get segregated between DLC maps or expansions, while players that wish to support the devs can purchase the cosmetic stuff.
Ofcourse, having game...
Didn't know the Lego franchise was that popular.
Still, Nintendo is dominating the list.
"Nintendo never produced amazing hardware"
Oh God, my eyes. They burn.
Well, if he said it, then the opposite ends up happening.
The Left4Dead school of thought eh?
I see the logic, but it only works for shooters that try to go for realism.
That, and some games actually do have 8 guns, but with multiple models. BF3 is kind of like that with many guns having the same stats, but different models/animations.
3D space would be a bit too complicated to work with when you consider the creation tools.
... but it could work.
The floaty controls are kind of the by-product of everything being physics based. That's the price you pay, but I prefer it the way it is right now.
Well, the conclusion isn't really as easy to come up with (assuming that we're talking about profits instead of numerical sales)
Either ways, the article is talking about time spent gaming instead of sales.
"Microsoft isn't like Sony, they won't ever dare publicly announce a problem with their service regardless of how many security flaws it has, and if you're a customer of theirs you should be concerned."
... wait, where are you getting all that from?
How would a sequel be any different from what they're doing now?
So you missed DMC1 and DMC3?...
They are arguably the best games in the series. =/
780 petabytes?
They'll break into the exabytes when they release the next Half-Life.
Am I the only one who found it funny that he joined less than 2 days ago yet remembers LogicWin's old bubble count?
:D
