Unfortunately, my brain switches to simulation driving mode whenever I hear that song.
Thanks Gran Turismo. =/
> "Why is it necessary to have a multitude of "articles" about the same subject?"
That holds true for any subject... and I don't see how your question answers mine.
If more and more people are getting into PC gaming and then want to voice their own opinions on subject they have experience in or God forbid, try and help others thinking about joining in, then where's the problem?
> "As long as it's about gaming...
How is it a 'make PC gamers feel better' article when it's just trying to inform people who aren't necessarily PC gamers at all?
O.o
You don't appear to have any interest in PC gaming, so why stick your head where it doesn't belong, and then try to use second-handed arguments where an argument isn't even necessary?
Both maps (AcidSea and Space) are playable in TDM.
Capturing the flag is difficult especially when both teams have a well fortified base. It is extremely hard to capture the flag right now, but that might just be due to the currently small playercaps.
There are games that are smart about weapon reloading.
RedOrchestra is one that I can name off the top of my head, and it isn't even a military sim.
"Which is why I asked the question before of how are you going to credit steam sales to PC when the steam client will probably be in the next HOME systems as well?"
What is that question even asking?
Steam is just a store, and it currently only sells games for PC/Mac.
Right now, steam's sales contribute to the sales of PC games.
If Steam's store was available on consoles, then we'll do the same thing that we do to any other retail...
Spoiler alert dawg.
What really did it for me was that Snake took an arrow to the knee but still continued his mission.
By looking at them?
DS3 has triggers for the L2/R2 buttons, along with a 'PS button'.
Asside from that, it's mostly functionality.
Along with the stuff you mentioned, I think DS1 didn't have pressure sensitive buttons, but asside from that, it was more or less identical.
You could use a DS1 controller on a PS2.
Felt more like MoH2 than anything.
They're taking down popular online targets.
Anything that affects a lot of people.
It's basically cyber-terrorism.
"Not to mention a 90 for a wii game is about a 45 for a next gen game. Not even trolling."
... if it's not trolling, then what is it? O.o
I am not talking about 'true' fans not buying TM cause they will buy the game even if it required a monthly subscription.
Its other people, those that either weren't into TM or never played a previous game, some of which will buy the game used and end up not buying the pass. Meaning, they won't be online.
You'll have plenty of people to play with Day1, but the pass is likely to cause some damage to the multiplayer's legs in the long ru...
Well, there is CounterStrike which is now on its... fourth iteration?
They could've just had it one day earlier while claiming it to be for support against SOPA/PIPA.
:D
Unfortunately, because of the pass, you're going to see fewer people online.
Games with a large amount of advertising can get away with an online pass, because there's going to be a large number of people buying the game (such as Uncharted3)
... but for a game like TwistedMetal, I'd say having a pass will deter some people from trying the MP, which ultimately means less people to play with.
Its not the developpers, it's the publishers.
... but PS2 was launched similarly at the end of 2000.
“PS2 was on the market longer before PS3 came out – it went from 2000 to 2007, a full seven years before we launched a new platform."
Doesn't he mean 2006?
... but wouldn't the retailers get profit from regular SD cards if there was no proprietary format? O.o
Halo didn't exactly start theater mode. It merely popularized the idea of demo recording...
Then again, the UI of theater mode does deserve some credit I suppose.
