CS isn't known for visuals.
I am not in the GO beta, but from what I've heard, the game runs pretty smooth.
That, is the biggest factor... and the signs of gameplay being designed for consoles aren't there.

Obviously, by pouring in all that money and manpower, they want to a high quality product, but it isn't guaranteed.
They're only loosing money if you assume that those buyers would have bought ME3 or BF3 individually.
It's a foolish assumption because what's going to happen is, those people won't pre-order ME3, and will just buy those games when they're cheaper and include all the DLC (and likely from a different retailer out of spite to origin)
