Starhawk and Killzone3 have this option.
In StarHawk's case, the SP and MP can be bought separately, while in KZ3's case, the MP version can be bought separately.
It's great too, because there are game for which I don't care about the SP, and if I'm buying them digitally, I might as well save some money and HDD space.
^ The video itself is from Machinima, which kotaku just reposted.
BroTeam are moderately popular and all their reviews pretty much follow the 'retarded' format.
It's made by mostly-PC gamers, and the goal is humour. Some people enjoy it, some don't, and some take it too seriously.
Who new that a satirical video would lead to this kind of discussion?
"They completely ruined TF2 with their hats and all that crap. Then they put the same microtransactions in Portal 2."
TF2 is as popular as ever, both on its casual side, and on its competitive side. So I don't see how it got completely ruined.
It's also a FreeToPlay game, so microtransactions are par for the course, but normal players can be competitive without buying anything.
Portal2's microtransactions are just cosmetic, and d...
It's the consumers that will have to decide that.
If the majority craves FPS games, then they'll remain king.
If CoD takes a break, another military shooter will just take its place.
"Heck, one could argue that Valve is WORSE. They don't just DLC-whore. They mod-whore, by taking fan-made mods and turning them into full games, charging you for the "upgrade" in the process."
I don't see how anyone could argue that what Valve does is worse.
Most of Valve's multiplayer games might be from mods, but they've done a lot of development on those games. They have kept supporting their games through free updates years afte...
If one needs to poop, one needs to eat as well, so it's implicitly covered.
"You want to know the difference between Origin and Steam? Steam is for pretty much all PC games. It has worthwhile sales and good customer support. Origin is NOTHING like that. Origin is just another venue for EA to express their greed."
To EA's credit, they have improved upon origin and made it more than just a cash-in. They now have some features not found on steam (such as built-in twitch streaming) and a 3rd party lineup with respectable prices at sales as ...
Well, if they want more revenue, then yea.
I too like to be the first to comment on articles that are of no interest to me.
I didn't remember unfinished swan being offered for free. O.o
That's an argument I find unfair because SpecOps does give you choices in a lot of the conflicts.
The big game-changing sequence is one of the few cases where things are linear, but that's a situation where most players would fall for the trap anyways.
That sequence isn't the end of the game either. A big theme of the game is how both you and Walker handle things after the event. Do you accept responsibility or deny it? Do you blame the game becau...
^ In Crysis, you actually pick up weapons from the ground.
They levitate into your hand in Killzone.
Neither of the two games show you your legs though. So they're all weird.
"If current gen games can get this size imagine next-gen games. There is no way I will be downloading a single game next-gen."
A big portion of the game size is probably just the recorded cinematics, most of which will have two versions (3D and non-3D).
If developers stick to using the in-game engine for cutscenes next gen, then I wouldn't expect the game size to jump that much.
^ They're good at generating hits, which is what this article will do.
No different from their previous article which compared PS4 with PC.
... yea, Bill Gates is the definition of evil.
After all, he is in charge of Microsoft and is a greedy miser that hoards all his money and gives none of it to charity.
The game has slowly morphed into an F2P model with time.
So yea, you'll have to deal with it even if you bought the game.
It's similar to what Valve did with TF2.
I don't see where the author ever said that the change of scenery was the problem.
... unless if you're replying to some comment. *shrug*
You told him to stop complaining, then complained about your own offering. =/
Anyways, I'd take a better PS+ selection over coloured consoles or 'retro' games.
... DICE is moving on from Battlefield3 ... to Battlefield4.
Doesn't exactly fit what you're trying to say.
