They're angry about someone trying to pass off a console that costs around $500 as a high-end PC.
In certain respects, both sides are right.
The PS4 isn't a high-end PC hardware wise.
On the other hand, 5 years from now, the PS4 will be running games that a high-end PC from today might struggle with.
As far as the games are concerned, both groups should be happy. Should be, but aren't, as can be seen from the mud slinging ...
Screams 'front page material' to me.
Which is a shame, because the actual content was interesting.
That's probably the name of PS4's Operating System.
KratOS.
^ The author called it the most nagging problem for PS+... not the most nagging problem in gaming.
That's where Gam3r's argument falls dead. Intentionally or unintentionally, he ignored the article's context.
You can see him down below complaining about how people imply anything they see, when he's the one who made the original blunder from the get go.
"If you buy a game that then appears on PS+ the following week then 'DEAL WITH IT' and stop being such a greedy arsed little child."
Didn't realize that wanting the most out of my subscription meant I was being greedy.
^ N64 used cartridges. Wii used discs... and there was a generation between the two systems.
I'm not even sure why you felt like bringing Nintendo into it. An act doesn't become justified just because someone else has already done it.
@Logic
The stats say that over 50% of everyone who played Infinite, finished it.
So, most people have finished the game.
To my knowledge, an AAA game just has a large budget behind it.
It doesn't have much to do with reviews or the game's actual quality, although, you'd hope a game with a bigger budget to be better than a smaller budget one.
"They make it possible for online multiplayer, since most small companies can't afford to put up and maintain their own servers."
That's only true for the very small number of games that provide their own dedicated servers.
For the most part, the online is either peer-to-peer, or community-owned servers, so big publishers aren't really needed for it.
... that, and when a big publisher does offer their own servers, it'...
"Battlefield has been offering a more well rounded experience than COD since its inception"
That's quite a feat, considering that BF games didn't always have a proper single-player component.
... and multiplayer only? O.o
You probably shouldn't be on a news site if you don't like developers talking about their games.
Diablo3 counts as a franchise?
I was expecting to see major series that started this gen, or made some major advancements this gen.
Stuff like AssassinsCreed, Uncharted, etc.
They've made plenty of games in the past 8 years.
Just haven't followed up on a cliffhanger ending.
Civilization...
... or pretty much any Strategy game, once you get your head into it.
Given the timeline, if Snake and BigBoss do meet in MGSV, then Snake would be in his teenage years.
It would make better sense to use a different voice actor for Snake in that kind of encounter.
^ That's the thing. They had different voice actors during the encounter and it didn't cause any problems. It was believable.
Now, BigBoss's voice changing shortly after PeaceWalker? Not that believable.
It's unlikely he'll even encounter Snake until he hits 60.
If the japanese version is still using the same old voice actor, then it pretty much debunks this theory.
... because Snake and Big Boss haven't encountered each other yet?
No, I was hoping for the campaign to consist of highly-intense tactical games of Connect4 as you outsmart the world's biggest evil master minds.
Seriously though, it looks like they're not straying far from BF3's campaign, and that was forgettable for the most part.
Yea, I'm being quick to judge, but it's hard to have faith that the SP will be anything unique when a trailer just shows splosions.
Maybe the full trailer will change m...
... why does the gender of the person testing it even matter to begin with?
