The feature has been there for a long time.
Only works for games that use Capsule (GMG's game client) and I haven't yet found much use for it aside from trading-in the free games that they give away at special occasions.
It usually ends up going along the lines of: You can buy a $7 game that has a trade-in value of $2... or just buy the same game for $5 from steam.
"You understand that he's still a mouthpiece outside of interviews right? His "microtransactions are good" bit comes from his own blog, not an interview."
I don't agree with his micro-transaction comment, but I don't expect to agree with every opinion of any single individual. In this interview, I thought his opinions were well-reasoned, and I don't see the point of crying over something he's said in a blog that's irrelevant to what...
I don't know man.
Remember those PS3 ads? That baby they had was definitely evil.
"No, it couldn't be that they've either been repeating the same things over and over again, or generally speaking as though their opinion is somehow more important to be heard than anyone else's opinion."
... so that's why you want a guy being interviewed to shut up? O.o
A lot of people have been talking a lot recently, seems you only want the people you disagree with to shut up.
Cliffy was asked about his opinion in an interview. Most of his points were pretty well reasoned.
No reason to show up in an article only to display your disdain for the topic.
Not yet, but some speculation is that it might be ArkhamCity and/or Limbo.
Nah man, you can't just show games, you gotta innovate too, and MS is doing just that.
They're stretching the limits to what consoles can do and what consumers can expect from the next-gen.
Consider this: you could order a pizza on the phone, but that pizza is just a mental image. With the xbox, you can see your pizza in full 1080p 60fps as you're ordering it, so you know you're making the right choice.
^ Not really.
Both types of operations are there to conceal the identity of the group/govt behind them.
A BlackOp just has the additional element of being more clandestine (meaning, the operations existence is hidden)
So, you can have explosions in both BlackOps and CovertOps.
Hooray, I guess.
"BlackOps" also implied covert ops...
... yet it was still an explosion-fest with barely any subtlety.
It's an easy way of getting bubbles.
Find a flamebait headline, and approve it while also making a comment on how stupid the article is.
Once it hits the front page, you'll be rolling in 'well saids'.
That's why I just use the web store to browse/buy items.
Only time I actually go there with the PS3 is to download something I already own.
It's not that bad overall.
... don't you mean rule 63?
Seems like the 6th playthrough is leaking.
Who on Earth told you the brain is 80% fat?
Not only is that completely ridiculous, it's completely wrong as well.
...that would explain how he managed to outrun the cops for so long.
^ So, you want to deny gamers of other platforms a chance to enjoy QD's games just for the PS Platform be seen as unique?
Why do you punish yourself by reading the comments here, budget?
Yea, I think he's just underestimating the demand that the particular niche has right now.
We're seeing some games with some survival horror elements (like the upcoming TLOU) but there hasn't really been many 'true' survival games on offer for consoles, so there's likely going to be a decent chunk of players who'll grab it quickly.
Thank you for taking the time to tell us all about how Bleszinski is not worth your time.
I'd correct you on some of the things you said, but it's understandable that you're a busy person and probably never bothered to figure out what he's accomplished.
Oh no, who will rescue Zelda now?
On a more serious note, it seems to work... but rarely. Had to click it three times before the article showed up.
Strange.
