^ Full decades go from the 1 to 10 (i.e. 1991-2000, 2001-2010, 2011-2020)
So we just entered a decade.
Though I guess it is generally taken as the year 0 to 9. Oh well, the decade is still relatively fresh... so still is odd for someone to call it the best RPG of the decade.
Yea, that was kind of an odd statement since we're just like two~three months into a new decade...
Probably because they're less likely to go rambo'ing around.
Although CoD leans towards the arcade side, it is easy to rack up kills by playing it pseudo-realistically. (i.e. quit running around with a sniper rifle pretending it's a shotgun)
It's because the people donating aren't necessarily doing it to make pirating possible (or even trying to support piracy).
Rather most donations would probably be from those that believe that this is a case for 'freedom of speech' and 'consumers rights' and whatnot.
What a bunch of losers crying about it.
=/
Problem with linux is, PC devs already face the problem of making their games compatible with all the various hardware out there... with Linux, they'll have the added problem of all the software variations.
That, and they'd have to face the vocal minority that wants everything to be open source. =/
What they mean by that is that they've tried to do too many things without really polishing them.
They're complaining about those features not being executed well.
... The industry is fine.
All this shows is that the 'hardcore' gamers ain't buying as much as the casual crowd.
Indie devs and small companies make bad games? On the contrary, they're actually keeping gaming fresh for me.
Your implication is crap sir.
... though I'm just trying to be an ass, I get what you're trying to say. ;)
Looks good, but the visuals are a bit unevenly spread. Some things (such as cars) are much more detailed than the environment.
Kinda looses its cohesive appearance.
NOLF was a breakthrough for womens rights.
I'm serious. I think that game made me side with the feminists more than anything else I've heard/read/seen/experienced.
... Seems like SteamWorks is catching on.
Still odd how retail copies have to be activated to a DRM that also acts as a DigitalDistribution outlet. especially for a game that appears to be SinglePlayer-centric.
=/
The one-hit melee is a pandemic on console shooters.
I'd prefer if they decrease the damage to about 25~30% of health from a front stab, and if desired, set it to one-hit-kill if stabbed from the back. (You'd get awkward moments where a frontal stab would sometimes get a one-hit kill, but for the most part, knifing would be a last-ditch effort to do when your clip is out)
Although I do like the auto-brutal-melee. I'm guessing it is there to infiltrators from just r...
I dunno... whichever one had Kefka in it was the first great FF to me.
Hmm, has Secret of Mana made its way through as well?
Lack of quick saves was the only real complaint I ever heard.
AI and Gunplay was fine. Not great, but they did their job.
Am I the only one who finds it amusing that DeadSpace and KillZone have similar names?
Dead ~ Kill
Space ~ Zone
... err, don't know where I was going with this.
If yer hardware is up to the task, throw in a mod of your liking. =)
1998 was great because of Thief too. =/
... Why can't they just share the decrypted file?
O.o
Or do you mean something that requires an internet connection every time you want to boot the game?
That'll be a slight demotivator for both pirates and legit buyers though. =/
Is the drainage pipe wide enough to accommodate a blu-ray disc!?
