What ever happened to those Blitz/Hitz games?
Don't need no words.
Just Dance.
It might be worth it... but it kinda looses value when you can get a similar service for free from elsewhere.
Already bought it (with the DLC) during the winter sale.
It's an offer you can't refuse. =)
".the PC version will not get extra geometry, extra levels, extra anything..."
It will if Crysis2 has mod support.
... and I don't recall seeing any DX11 footage.
As for me, I'd consider the simple frame-per-second increase as a major difference.
Hence why a game like BC2, which although available on PC/360/PS3, is a much faster-paced affair on a PC; because the frame-rate isn't capped at 30.
^ You don't need a gaming PC to run CounterStrike.
O.o
Do these two games share anything aside from being in roughly the same time period?
... NOLF did it better.
Main protagonist, and the main villain were both females.
If I recall correctly, one of the villains in NOLF2 has an umbrella that acted as a sheath for her sword.
Am I the only one who read the title in the voice of Demoman?
Game looks interesting as well. Reminds me of Dante's Inferno.
Hmm, I was expecting a lower score from PC Gamer...
Haven't been to interested in DA2 (was mostly holding out for Witcher)... Guess I'll give the demo a shot.
^ In split-screen, the two individual screens are of lower resolution.
Same also applies to 3D too I believe.
So it's not just a simple case of applying that together.
EDIT: @Christian Hour
The human eye doesn't see in frames, rather it sees continuously. So higher frames will always look smoother. (The human eye only being able to see 30~60fps is a myth).
Movies rely on blurring to hide the smaller frame cou...
Heh, on my first play-through, I accidentally had my gun firing the premium bullets...
Was wondering why the monsters were so easy to kill.... untill I went to see a merchant. =/
Double-post... blargh. =(
I think he meant it in terms of funding.
I felt Metro had a lot of awesome ideas that just weren't executed completely (such as the librarians). Though the faults are kind of what made it appealing... despite being linear, it felt like I was just half-assing along, barely making it through.
Only other games I can recall doing that is the Half-Life and Uncharted series.
I liked the part where you explained your reasoning.
Might be because of the lighting.
Seems the night scene doesn't showcase the improved lighting as well as the day-time does.
Still looks great though.
^ You forgot Brink.
... Hmm, it's $50 here (NorthAmerica) for PC pre-orders of Homefront...
... and you get Metro2033 and a TF2 bandana as bonus items for pre-ordering (latter is for steam only)
So, assuming you don't own Metro, that's a 10+ hour experience right there. =)
Whereas Crysis2 and BF3 both seem to be at $60 pre-orders.
So... I'd say EA is the bigger devil in pricing.
... the new dante too I believe?
Just had to make sure I wasn't going crazy. =)
Well, the article asks which you'd pick if you could only pick one. =/
I've got Homefront pre-ordered (Mostly for the pre-order bonuses). Crysis2, although fun in it's own way, didn't seem like something I'd fork $60 over.
Though, I'll be treating it as an appetizer for Brink.
... How much does it cost to produce a digital copy of a game? O.o
