... Horrible Anti-aliasing in those sub-HD screenshots. PC version is better cause you can run it through an emulator at 1080p.
=)
Well, point of a console is entertainment, and if a few games are enough to keep them entertained, then more power to them. I know of people that still play CounterStrike 1.6. They'll try other games, but revert back to CS afterwards... even though they have a supercomputer. =/
I don't see why that would be annoying, people can do whatever they want. I'd rather it stays that way too, I'm pretty sure you don't want casual CoD players running around in Killzone and r...
Tarcers? ARGH. =(
Oh well, whatever keeps the air-support balanced.
... there was one more... err... whats the name... Rayman?
I miss platformers. =(
^ and you're saying that the KZ clan would destroy the CoD clan based on...? O.o
In my experience, throwing either clan into a game they don't play will lead into them getting slaughtered. This is based on my experience of playing with people across different games on the PC.
Slower-paced games such as Killzone rely on positioning more than hand-eye co-ordination or reflexes. Faster-paced games shift the emphasis around.
You can argue that Kil...
Depends. Europe also gets the shaft some times with EA's regional pricing, whereas other times they get free games or great deals like now.

If PC had less players, then you're kinda re-inforcing Death's point, which was that PC has more teamwork.
Though part of the reason why PC got it first was because they got a headstart.
Right now bfbcs reports 35k players for PC with 22k for PS3 and 360. The total population is r...
I've heard of people having emotional problems. =/
Beta vs Demo. This is serious stuff here. =/
Check bfbcs. http://bfbcs.com/
The numbers for PC have died down, since it was around 40k+ during the winter holidays (largely due to the steam sales)
PC also whooped consoles in the race for hastings. :D
Steam only records the players that have the steam version. So, it is mostly accurate for steamworks games.
There isn't that big of a hardware gap between the 360 and PS3. The difference is mostly PS3 having more/better first-party devs to actually squeeze the system.
Wouldn't matter anyways since there is quite a big chasm between consoles and PC in terms of hardware.
Though the news is getting spinned in a weird direction. It isn't exactly the console that's holding it back, rather, DICE is not letting consoles affect the PC experience.
err... no it wasn't? O.o
Unless if you're talking about tech sheets, the graphics in RE5 were quite underrated.
It's probably running at a lower resolution than PC/Console version.
Seems you're learning about the divide between multiplayer-focused shooters and single-player ones.
Although I'll agree that he probably shouldn't have made the tweet, your comment was phrased in a way that hardly anyone would've sympathized with you (as you already admitted).
When you use strong language and then show worry over metacritic, most people who see the comment will see it as juvenile and dumbass-y. He just decided to be an ass and share the comment with a little extra jab thrown in.
I'm not sure if being an ass on twitter qualifies as 'unprof...
So, you assumed he's an anti-PS3 fanboy because he didn't like a few PS3 games, and then treat any action he does as a an attempt to dent the PS3's image? O.o
If he gives KZ3 a negative score, he's a fanboy.
If he gives it a good score, he's a fanboy trying to cover his ass.
When you've already judged a website to eternal damnation, then your criticism towards it holds little weight since there is absolutely nothing they can do to make ...
^ Well, scripted-events, a half-decent story, environments that make co-herent sense (a more immersive world in general instead of health-pack-ladden corridors) ...
Half-Life was mostly a linear, well-polished game. Most games these days are just that. =/
Though, if we include its mods (CounterStrike in particular, TeamFortress too, but it started on Quake) then it did revolutionize FPS games as far as multiplayer goes.
Add one more!
-> Brink.
@kancerkid
I think it was confirmed that BF3 would have 64 players on PC.
Probably do something like BC2 where the console version gets a lower limit.
Anyways, seems like the devs aren't gimping the PC version... yet. =/
@Game-ur
Just imagine BC2 with more players, bigger maps and more vehicles (including jets). =)
^ I did. The point of the blog is that the CoD games fall into a generally more favorable bin with reviewers.
Saying one CoD game is better than another doesn't really contribute much when they're all still getting praised and other more deserving games aren't.
Meh, not like it really matters.
"The combat is functional and familiar – snipers camp rooftops, engineers blow up tanks, medics spam medkits and assault troops play team deathmatch."
Haha, I feel like firing up BF2 now all of a sudden.
Beta is decent... but, still a beta. It's going to be interesting when the game reaches maturity.
