Well this is great news for those folks whose HD sets don't support 720p. Thankfully I don't have that problem, but I know a few who do. I wonder though, if 720p will still look better than 1080i. Progressive normally looks better in video games vs. interlaced, although I noticed no significant difference in Assassin's Creed.
Is that a picture of the "guy in question"? What is it with guys with thinning hair and the quasi mullet thing goin?!? Quit the combovers and shave it all off...
Bullsh!t. Tell that to Hershey and the Mars Corp. Those guys do hate each other and it's been well documented. Sometimes big businesses go beyond just competing for market share. Do I think that people at MS hate Sony and vice versa? Hell yeah. Besides, a little (very little) hate in your life is healthy...
Well, in a way Square is making this game since Level 5 is made up of a bunch of ex-SqEnix devs.
I want one of these now. I swear there could be real animals nesting under all those damned wires behind my plasma. Plus this would allow me to mount with having to drill more holes for wiring. Wireless is so f'ing cool...
They are actually $169.99 in the states now. $199 are the special edition ones like silver Daxter and white SW Battlefront.
Jeanne d'Arc, GoW, FF Tactics, R&C, Patapon...I could go on, but there are plenty of good games in practically any genre. Don't forget it plays all the PS1 games on the PSN/PC Playstation Store and remote play of PJ Monsters. I read earlier that BC Rearmed will be remote play enabled as well. There are other remote play games, but I don't remember which off-hand.
Seems kind of redundant to pay to play a game and then pay someone else to basically "play" the game for you just to level up. This seems reminiscent of those people cheating to get a higher gamer score. It is their money and they can do what they want with it, but I always thought that part of the fun of gaming is earning my accomplishments or getting those hard to earn things, like high level characters, on my own. Can't say I'd really want to play with people who didn't level ...
Slow news day, huh?
They are not AC/DC by any stretch of the imagination...
They sure as hell aren't helping, but I think this is deeper rooted than those problems. They've been viewed as the "evil empire" for a long while now and, whether fair or not, perceptions mean more to a lot of people than facts.
Read much decapitator? They went from 12th in '04 to 59th last year. Not a good thing when you drop that fast. Like the story said, look what happened to IBM.
Damn you Harry! :P
This guy's opinion does matter, but not much. I also don't think he is being very realistic about the time frame. I could see it being an option much further down the road (especially for DD of movies), but if someone tried telling me that an electronics company (like Sony) has no interest in creating another physical media (like Blu-ray) to rule the world and reap the monetary rewards, then I'd say they're a fool.
There is a lot of money/R&...
I could come up with a lot more reasons, but these five are pretty good ones. I didn't know about the music, not that I'd ever buy the songs off Amazon, but at least it's an option. This game is a must own and I can't decide where to pre-order. Sometimes Amazon ships early, but there is always the possibility that it would be on the street before in my mail. Anybody got an opinion?
BTW, this will be first game I've ever pre-ordered. I think it's kind of a waste, but I'm ...
No offense, but we're getting gaming advice from a dude named Rick Astley. I mean, it's f'ing hilarious in a really silly way. Thanks, Rick! :P
When will you facks learn about the open zone. If I wanted any sh!t out of you I'd squeeze your noggin...
jmare, go pistol whip that zipper head!
I'm looking forward to all of these games and will probably be buying every single one. I do think the list could have been expanded with some of the third-party games like White Knight Chronicles and Sega's Valkrye (forget the NA name) to just name a couple. This list is just the cream of the crop cause their are a lot of exclusives over the next year or two that look very interesting like 8 days or The Getaway.
I'm more on the fence for KZ2, but RFoM was a great FPS IMO. Insomniac has already put out two fantastic games (one even at launch) and I really think this game is going to be that much better because of it. They know the PS3 architecture and make such quality games that I had to vote for RFoM2. I never played KZ (I was overseas), but I plan to borrow it from a friend and give it a spin before KZ2 comes out. Seems like it got mixed reviews. Anybody care to give me some feedback on it bef...
Another sign of the apocalypse... :P
Thanks for the additional translation, the actual site translation was practically unreadable! I think this info sounds accurate as it meshes with other odds & bits we've heard about this game. Also, not so certain that 1 April is April Fool's in France. Don't recall it being so when I lived in Italy so I'm not sure...
Edit: Did some research (not that anyone would really care) and it appears that France might actually be where April Fool's day started. Go figure...
