Sued for what? And who agreed with that? That would be like sueing those jokers for the Jade cartoon; meaning it's ludicrous.
D'toid seems like a fun-lovin site that doesn't take itself or games too seriously and likes to take the piss out of anybody and everything. So go easy, cause your first reaction should not have have been to get all negative.
But I wouldn't say my console "bricked" if it still turns on and can do other functions.
Not like you wanted to hear that, but I'm trying to spin it for you in a more positive way: at least I can still download trailers and play super stardust HD cause my PS3 didn't "brick". (sarcasm)
Why are you wasting you're time on here instead of calling Sony and getting yo sh!t fixed?!? I swear, some people...
Seriously though, my thou...
I couldn't have to put that into words better than you.
So true.
First, this should've never been added to the site.
Second, these are the same numbers that plenty of other sources released last week.
Third, does it even matter? Hypothetically, what if the numbers were exaggerated? What's the real number than? 6 to 3? 5 to 1? Either way HD-DVD is getting their ass kicked and selling players at "going-out-of-business&qu ot; prices isn't helping one bit when there is no content or owners t...
You've got to be at least top 5 if not top 3 RRoD fanboys around here. I never see anything but garbage in your posts. I've even seen you dressed down by your fellow fanboys so why are you even talking smack about a game you'd be drooling over if it was on 360?
That's what I was thinking. I'm sure there will be a Zelda in their too. Definitely some old school games that deserve some love as well.
Please bring this to NA!
Thanks for your esteemed input, Troll. I guess you had to keep your mouth shut on the weeks when demos for R&C and Uncharted were released, huh? Those must have been weeks when Live was "beyond" the PSN, right?
What does growing balls have to do with losing one's ignorance? You remind me of and induhvidual...
Maybe I'm just reading your post wrong, but I assume you're talking about Pirates of the Caribbean? That would be a BD exclusive not HD-DVD. Try using some commas next time if that's what you meant.
jaja put down the crack pipe and do some research before you spread your ignorance to other fools:
"So by your statement anything thats not 720 and thus not hd, which is also wrong since HD is defined as anything above 480, as crap is just some idiotic fanboy statement."
HD is not defined as anything above 480. 720 is universally regarded (except by Aussies who accept 576p as the lowest standard) as the minimum standard for High Definition. Technicall...
What? I've heard many people, friends/bloggers (even on this website) who bought another 360 when theirs went tits up and were still under warranty.
I'd love to play the exclusives on a 360 and have an excellent opportunity to get one since I've got a family member who works at MS, but I can't justify buying a system that could break anytime. I'll wait till it gets sorted, but I'm not holding my breath since it doesn't appear they've made any significant changes to the H/W....
Considering we use $$$ in the US I'd say I'd rather have $299 than 30 quid. Wouldn't get me very far around here.
More likely one of the employees just brought in their own crap and pawned it off as the full version.
It doesn't take long to open the case and look at the disc. Might be mistaken, but don't most of them take the disc out and peek at the back to see how scratched up it is? Besides, if you look at the picture it's plain to see that someone blacked out part of the front of the disc. That should have been an immediate warning sign. I mean, who goes around blacking stuff out...
Of why Gamestop sucks. I avoid them if possible. Especially when they tell me stupid things like Uncharted is delayed when I called to see if they got them in on 15 Nov. Delayed? Sh!t, people were already playing it let alone the fact that it had gone gold like three weeks prior. Gamestop sucks and they don't know what the hell they're talking about half the time (even though it's "in the computer").
have to wait on Thursday either. Most likely could've shown up 20 or 30 minutes before the store opened. Thanksgiving is way more important than a console. I'd tell my family to just suck it up and pass the stuffing!
That's the question I'm always asking. If people knew would they continue to buy them? I wonder why the mainstream media still haven't picked up on the %40 failure rate. Maybe after xmas if there is a big uproar from parents that bought 360's this holiday that end up RRoD'n.
I still don't understand why someone with a computer would want a 360 either. I can play Bioshock, GoW and eventually Mass Effect on my laptop and don't need to worry about it going tit's up if I play i...
zhuk, you give flaming a bad name. It would be so much better if you actually said something that was worthwhile and had some substance.
This guy waiting in line for 36 hrs. is pathetic. The deals weren't that great for a 2 year old console that can be bought at any store that carries them in town, on any given day. Hope it doesn't RRoD on him...
Kind of an older article, but very educational indeed. It certainly appears that HD-DVD, for all it's statements to the contrary, really is not in a good place. It's also not surprising how much the industry really works in an opposite direction than MS.
That's what I was thinking. Just edit out the text and make the pic bigger. As a friend would've said:
Er...there were words?!?
