Probably the first and only time I'll agree with toughname. "Brunch" you are wrong, man. Resistance was far better than weak and judging by how hot and how fast the posts are coming in, a lot of people are looking forward to this game. I can't wait!

Well, considering that he was "promoted" recently (didn't seem like a better gig to me) from editor-in-chief of EGM to editorial director of 1Up after it happened, I'd venture a guess of no.
Gotta say I have mixed feelings. EGM wasn't ever the same after ZD bought 'em so some of those feelings for the magazine weren't necessarily his fault. I didn't always agree with some of the stuff he said/did (recently, the little review fued that made it seem like he was biting the hand that fed him wasn't cool at all), but he certainly wasn't bad for the mag. They say that the pub is bigger than ever, whatever that means to us readers...

Loved PaperBoy, I also liked Top Gun and the "Strike" series. There were actually a few decent games on this list, like Fatal Fury. I think some were picked just because they sucked at them or were, more than likely, trying to get more hits on their site. I mean, come on, they couldn't come up with a more original title as worst game ever than ET?

Anyways, these guys are probably waiting for the PS3 bundle with GTAIV. I sure as hell wouldn't camp out just for a game (or a system), but to each their own.
I got this error within a month of getting the 60gb for xmas '06. Sent a message to Sony and got a quick reply. I say quick because it was the same day and I figured it would take a few to hear back from them. Anyhow, I believe that it was right after a firmware update and it only happened when I tried to load two different games (don't remember which). Other games loaded fine and usually I would just eject the game giving me trouble and try again until it worked (usually next try). <...
As long as the ads don't detract from the experience than I really don't have a problem. I think that at times they could make the game seem more realistic, but if they are plastered all over the damned place then I'd be pissed. I don't buy things because of advertising and the only reason I watch commercials or pay attention to an ad is so I can have a quick laugh.

Also, Dark Mist hasn't been confirmed for the NA store. I believe that is only confirmed for EU. Japan has had it since the end of Feb.

Thanks va_bank. I think Pachter's statement was probably just speculation on what could've happened. He was probably giving an interview and was asked his opinion or thoughts on the EA/Take Two merger. I don't know the context of how it was said, but we know he didn't say it was going to happen, only that it could have been a possibility. In any case it's not going to happen and like you I can't wait to get my hands on GTAIV. Been loving this franchise since the PS1 days!

I really don't think that Pachter meant that EA would delay GTAIV, he was just stating the obvious: it would make "cents" for EA to delay until holiday '08 if they were to acquire Take Two. I disagree that it is even feasible let alone logical.
First, Take Two shareholders are not going to accept any bid from EA until after GTAIV launches (if they ever do). Shares will certainly gain some momentum on the huge sales expected. Why except a bid now that could become ...

You guys have to be kidding yourselves if you think the PSP2 is coming out next year. 2009 will be year 5 of the "10 year lifecycle" proclaimed by Sony just weeks ago. There will be new iterations of the PSP in the coming years, but not a "PSP2". Going to have to wait awhile yet for that one guys.
