I can see some people having a problem, but I agree with you. The more updates the better. I love getting better functionality from the PS3 & PSP.
If Home is a myth than where the hell have I been logging into since last June?!? Oh yeah, it's a closed beta and you weren't invited...sorry, but I will tell you that you are not missing much right now.

Getting nickled and dimed sucks. That's why I won't buy those silly items like a car or weapons (looking squarely at you EA), but map packs or stuff that actually adds some decent new gameplay is cool. The only DLC I've ever bought was for Motorstorm and it was worth it. I liked that they at least threw us a bone and gave some vehicles for free. UT3 did it right as well when they dropped those maps for free a couple weeks ago.
Some real lame complaints here, but also a few valid ones. No wi-fi is a real oversight, but I think no HD is just as bad if not worse. Also, Wii gets no demos?!? Holy Sh!t! Had no idea, guess that will be a purchase much further down the road than I thought. PS3 updates?!? I don't particularly like d/l'ing them, but I always look forward to the changes/improvements that Sony makes to the firmware.

Damn Yi-long complain much?!? It hasn't been reported if this is coming with DS3 or Sixaxis and that's a deal breaker (if this is true at all)? Sorry, but the console comes with a controller. Use the extra $60 (whatever is equivalent where you live) you'll save on the game and pick up a second controller that is a DS3; assume you'll need another one anyway.

I do believe this could be true, but tough to say when it's coming from somewhere I don't know about. It makes sense since Sony was bound to do something with GTA just as MS is with the DLC. This property is way to big to not jump on the bandwagon and try to push consoles. This could be big trouble for the 360 in the EU if MS has no answer for this bundle pack and it is sold throughout Europe. I come to that conclusion ...
Programming is really lacking (trust me I've had my plasma since returning to the states in '03 and there wasn't anything back then), but at least there is something.

Another BS statement from Kojima about this being the end. Strange for him to say that since he "still" wasn't able to completely fulfill his vision for MGS and recently gave his personal stamp of approval with a 1 out of 10.
This will probably be the only MGS on PS3, but with new tech and bigger dreams don't bet against a MGS, with Kojima at the helm, on the PS4 or other future consoles.
At least a month or maybe what I read awhile back was that they were leaning toward it. I do remember that the article I read said that it would only be in the beginning of the game and this just basically looks like confirmation. Think it might've been Game Informer from a ways back.

Consider yourself and your friends lucky. The only two guys I know that owned 360s (notice I said owned) both had multiple RRODs. One guy had it four times (he ended up buying another 360--an Elite hoping it would fix his problems, but that one RROD'd as well) the other got it three times. Both were Xbox fans and neither owned a PS3 (or PS1/2) until finally becoming fed up with MS and the 360 problems. BTW, If you want an extra 360 my friend is basically giving one of them...

I've yet to try any on that list although I've got Dungeon Siege sitting there staring at me waiting to be played. I love my PSP, just finished GoW and it was incredible. Anyone played Brave New World? I've had my eye on it, but wasn't sure. Is it turn-based or more action RPG?

This article did not give me any warm feelings about this game, especially this close to release. There sure are a lot of little problems for a game that has been delayed this long and numerous times. Makes me wonder what it looked like last Nov/Dec when it was originally slated to drop.

The retro Xbox did get a chuckle out of me though. That controller and the "open faceplate" reminded me of some fond memories. Most of you probably have never had to get off your butt to change a channel, huh? What a pain (no pun intended) in the ass that was!
Are the glitches mostly seen on 360 or PC? I've never seen any (that I know of) on the PS3 version and I'm halfway through my first prestige (don't play much anymore). F glitches or cheating, that's just BS.
