The DS3 has better triggers. The sticks are also a little stiffer and the d-pad has a little more "grit" to avoid slippage. I really like the new controllers and they add just enough weight to make them feel solid in your hands, but not too heavy.
BTW, WTF is this stupid armor for? Is this suppose to protect the controller when I chuck it? Seems very unnecessary...
Can you imagine what Myst would look like!?! Detail unseen since the Saturn version. :P
Very, very interesting. My wife is a teacher and, it took awhile, but I have her convinced that games are not the problem for "today's" youth. The claims of video game violence causing some of the recent incidents is no different than a lot of other stimulus that "those in the know" (sarcasm) have blamed in the past. Anything from comic books, rock and roll, dungeons and dragons, rap music or violent films/tv have been used to try and prove the growing violence of our s...
Something is up, SSHD is pushing version 3.0 on me right now, well...not on me literally, but...you guys know what I mean. :P
Anyhow, SSHD was supposed to have an update with Thursday's store update, but it's here now. Don't recall what the changes were going to be, but since I haven't put this game down since last year I can't wait to find out.
@Dark Knight
Not that I would know the difference, but why are you certain of that? Just curious. Is the 18 sticker in the lower left hand corner big enough? Seems too small.
It appears real, but I don't know. Really, the only thing that looks off about this is the box and lack of gameplay. Inside the case looks very legit, like the "immigrant's guide" and I have no idea what is going to end up on the disc art, but that thing looked well done if it...
Just watch it already. Nothing, and I mean NOTHING, will ruin your experience. In fact, there really isn't much to see at all...
LOL
My second thought, after the obligatory "is it real or fake" question.
I noticed that also. Um...wouldn't that be illegal?
I won't believe any numbers until the NPD's come out. VGChartz are consistently wrong and usually by a lot.
Mine have only started doing it. It worked fine for over a year, but just recently the main controller I use has done it every once in awhile.
I agree with you. I was surprised when I opened up the sixaxis I had bought and there wasn't a cord inside. That kind of pissed me off. I do wish the cord was longer, but at least you can charge it off any USB and that is a major advantage. It should work on your Mac.
Just buy a longer cord, they sell 'em for $10 all over the place. Or do what I do and plug it into your laptop. Mine is always on the ottoman right in front of the couch anyways and it charges it just fine.
If you are even remotely interested in RPGs you owe it to yourself to try out some of the classic FF's. You really cannot go wrong playing any of them and each is like a small piece of history leading up to the RPGs of today.
Can't agree with you on this one Breakfast. VII was awesome, but I think that I had the most fun playing X. Story was cool, the characters rocked and blitzball has got to be the best minigame of all time. Lulu...
My fondest memories from the old NES days were playing Zelda and the first FF on the NES in the states. I believe it was actually FFIII. I loved that game. I'd played nothing like and it was one of the greatest adventures I'd ever had.
Sh!t, I wond...
The only problem with waiting on the GOTY editions is that they take so damned long to come out. Look at Oblivion or CoD4 for example: GOTY Oblivion didn't come out for at least six months after initial release and CoD4 has taken roughly five. Now obviously GOTY's normally contain additional content that is usually made available around the same time and, almost always, months after initial release. I just wish it wasn't six months to a year later.
How is the Persona ser...
Funny you say that cause the thought crossed my mind the other day. I wish that I had one disk for Oblivion and Shivering Isles instead of the separate expansion pack.
There will be a collector's edition released also, but it includes some unwanted (for me) stuff although the art book would be nice:
Vault Boy bobblehead
100-page hardcover art book
Making-of Fallout 3 special DVD
Metal Vault-Tec lunch box
Totally agree. I don't need to see crazy stuff, but would love to see some adult hijinks for sure. Adult themed stuff could be like the difference between Cartoon Network during the day and adult swim for example. I'd just like a more adult/mature (not less fun, mind you) alternative at times. I really like the way this game is shaping up. Luckily I can afford all the stuff that is coming out this year!
I could see how some of this stuff might be coming from R* themselves. Not all of it, but at least some. Makes sense to get that much more word out there about your game (not like they need it though).
I know that if I got my hands on a copy early that I'd be playing the hell out of it and not worrying about making vids to show the world what they're missing. I'm actually trying to avoid most of them just so that I can experience the game for myself. Damn, I cannot wait u...
