Because movies based on games always suck, I think wierd ideas like Sonic the movie would be a perfect fit...as in it would absolutely suck for sure, and fit right in with the rest of those bad movies.
Assasins Creed 2 is a fun game, and real work of art IMHO. It deserves recognition.
Welcome to the Peoples Republic of China. Why would anyone be surprised by this kind of story?
I played a lot of PC games over the years, but only on a console these days. I don't really get what he is saying.
Whether I bought a game for PC or now for a console, I expect a certain level of quality for my hard earned money. I am not very forgiving if I feel a game wasnt worth the money, regardless whether it is PC or PS3.
If anyone pressed me on these types of questions, I would say. "I don't really have much of an opinion on trivial things like electronic appliances. May I ask how this is related to your determination of what a good candidate is for this position?"
Even if you don't get the job (or want it at that point), it tells people you are professional not willing to waste your time with stupid off topic questions.
It's all for the best. You would probably have a crappy job if your boss was a wierd WoW fanatic that made real world decisions based upon a fantasy world.
PS, I have been interviewing people for a job lately, and word of advice to job seekers...people that ask questions about your personal lives instead of work questions are probably not good people to work for. If they do ask, saying you like to play video games is probably not a good answer....unless the job is related to vi...
Intersting that people get so worked up over a writers opinion on writing. I thought it was an interesting comment, but I play the games I like regardless of other game makers opinions. I think people are childishly oversensitive if they feel alienated by different opinions on games.
funny, and oh so typical clueless replies.
Don't confuse graphics with the generic term "performance". You can have the same graphic quaility on two systems, and yet also deem one to have slightly better performance (a very broad term that could mean anything from frame rate, load times, etc).
Both 360 & PS3 have good enough graphics that no one should feel butthurt by these endless "which graphic is better" debate. And unless people have...
People aren't rats, and a crappy job is not a ship.
lol, at people waiting for this kid to give them a hack solution. There are people getting paid good money to ensure network integrity from access by hacked systems. Whatever exploits are found will be then blocked again when found out about. It is a cat & mouse game that only yields temporary results. If you aren't into the hacking for just the game itself, then you are going to be the loser waiting for some other hacker to give you a free lunch.
Not for players like me that play solo at home, mainly with shooters & driving games for many hours at a single session. There is economy of movement, and precision of control with traditional handheld control that has the edge over motion control in this type of game playing scenerio.
Addictions lead to problems. People can be addicted to games just like drugs. And for people who are not mentally stable, those addictions can lead to violent actions when their "drug" is taken away.
This list fails, because PS3 owners know that games specifically made for PS3 are what works best on our system's hardware, and what we look forward too.
As far as this list, I really hope the new developers for Fallout New Vegas fix the bad programming that Bethesda did for the PS3 version of Fallout 3. It is so irritating when a game you really love playing also happens to be one of the worst games you have ever played from a technical reliability standpoint.
Never played part 1. I picked up Assasin Creed 2 only because it was on sale, and instantly got hooked on it. I haven't finished everything only because of how massive that game is.
current gen console games come to mind for me...
Force Unleashed - controls were so sloppy...I got so freaking pizzed on the first platforming section that I never played it again, and sold it to Gamestop.
Brutal Legend - Started out to be what I thought was a GREAT game. By the third stage battle RTS section, I quit feeling very annoyed. Never played it again, and have no desire too.
Prototye - Was cool at first, but then all those arena style fig...
Haha, a sure sign someone plays too many games, and needs to get out of the house more when they start drooling over CGI boobs (that were programmed by dudes at a software developer)
It's not surprising. There are a lot of car/racing enthusiasts who are not really video game players that will buy this game because of it's racing simulator specs. This game is often mentioned in car magazines like Road & Track, and others on the development currently going into the game. There is strong interest outside the gaming community. Because I am a sports car & racing fan, I have been seeing references to this game regularly from the car/racing enthusiast world.
lol, those that are crying about a developer being "greedy" because they want to maximize sales must not have much experience in the working world. People work hard to earn money. That is the payoff. That is the reason businesses are created. This isn't a basement hobby for the game makers.
One would be hard pressed to find two more dissimilar games to make a comparison of which one is better. It doesn't make much sense to me.
I doubt this has anything to do with Microsoft, and more to do with all movie & game media releases on disc at retail stores are typically on Tuesdays. If movies or games coming out are available both as disc or download on PSN, the PSN store will be two days behind the local retailer if they continue updating the PSN store on Thursday insteadof Tuesday.
