This is absolutely shocking news. Earth shattering, and informative too.
Or, maybe not so much. lol
Just like any transitional period between old & new technology, of course DVD is still seen as a common platform. But it is an end of life platform, and currently being phased out. When there is a lot of households using an older technology, they can;t just stop supporting it overnight at retailers. But there is a concerted effort to phase DVD out, just like the phasing out of vinyl records to CD or VHS to DVD. This phased approach is a calculated plan, spearheaded by large retailers that...
Long time musician here chiming in...
If you play these games, get real and acknowledge they are games, and have nothing to do with musicianship or the discpline in learning to play an isntrument. When people try to imply it teaches you music skills, I have to LOL at that comedy. If you haven't been there practicing an instrument several hours every day of the week, for many years, then you don't know what you are talking about. I'm not saying there is anything wrong with playi...
While some people praise guys like this for being so clever, I wonder why they aren't making a lot of money creating innovative software, or new products people would buy. Maybe not so clever after all.
I don't know who started this "redefining" talk in the first place. Too much hyperbole these days when people talk about video games. It is a great game though.
These reports come out on every single firmware upgrade. I am guessing it is due to interruptions in the installation process, and not the firmware itself. There is inherit risk in updating firmware on a computer. A process is created to minimize risk, but risk remains if anything interrupts that process. It is logical to conclude that two exact devices with the exact same hardware, and exact same firmware update leaves one working and the other not...it is probably not the firmware itself be...
Metal Gear Solid4 would have to be stripped down of all that cinematic content to be on DVD for 360. Now that I think about it, it might actually be an enjoyable game if they did that, haha. Haaaated it. ;-)
Well, they do have Natal coming out later on. Pew pew pew! (Making pretend gun with my hand) ;-)
Microsoft seems to have become a company that watches other tech companies success from the sidelines, then tries to smear them in a desperate attempt to hang on to market share. They act like the sad grumpy old man of the tech world, bitter at life passing them by.
Here's an idea..instead of talking smack Microsoft, make something cool that people want to buy.
a choice between two undesirable outcomes is a "conundrum", not a force against one's will. ;-)
OK, this dork got his 15 minutes of fame. Clock is ticking, and soon we won't read about this geek anymore.
Always get a kick out of reading posts and seeing people's panties get in a bind over these kinds of comments. And what is exactly wrong with someone merely pointing out that fake product demos are disingenuous, and a diservice to consumers? Why so much sniveling over someone pointing out the obvious...oh yeah, I get it. This guy didn't make a game for Xbox. It's a fanboy reaction kind of deal. Ah, yes.
hah, hilarious review...and not at all surprising, This so-called game looks like pure rubbish.
Bring back the fighting game DOA. Games with dames, not something lame.
I don't see why there is so much sniveling. No one is making anyone update firmware. If you want a box that is a plaything for messing around with other OS installations, than don't update it. If yuou still want to do both online & other OS, then get another one for online.
I have always geeked out with computers & stuff, but even I see a legit reason for them to remove this from the system on boxes that are connected to a network they provide as a no cost service. If ...
Yeah, Borderlands is really fun. Just don't expect some kind of interesting story that draws you in like a movie experience. The plot & missions are all just a front for shooting & more shooting, collecting differnet guns to do more shooting, and leveling up so you can shoot tougher enemies.
People used to xbox controller like those better. People that have played PS1, PS2, PS3 over the years are used to the playstation controller, and like that better. Not much point in claiming one controller is better than another, because people just like what they are used to using.
lol, how does that 3dog know every goddamn thing you have been doing, and report on it on the radio? F*ing stalker. He was annoying, especially after he started ripping on my character just because I happened to be doing a little killing out there on the wasteland.
"this game is specifically for those who like the idea of staring at and playing with digital babes on their PSP"
LOL. Translation = "this game is specifically for lonely young male losers"
Wii already has their cash cow market...all those little kids out there swinging their little Wii controllers like mad. It's not like their parents are going to find that same kind of game library on the PS3, and throw out the Wii.
It is irrelevent what hardware platform a game is on as to rating the merits of that game.
