still looks like a...
nevermind, there are kids on this website. ;-)
I have never followed the series...but will pick this up day one for my PS3. I'm glad to see it multiplat so my friends who play on the 360 can check it out too.
Because they are butthurt, haha.
Always funny to read the comments to see how many get so butthurt over a funny article like this.
They should level the playing field, and let everyone play in God mode. Then all matches can go on forever with zero kills. LOL.
Sounds tiring
Games with really good reviews from the majority of game sites usually are not flops. Not saying it is going to be a blockbuster or overnight success, but it is going to sell a decent amount with enough good reviews behind it.
The overgeneralizations on all accounts are amusing.
People think that because us video game players get older, we no longer like crazy action games? Yeah, I guess we just like geezer games, and only bought a PS3 becuase we thought it was primarily a Blu Ray player.
NOT.
I am one of these "older" gamers, and I might check out Heavy Rain, because I like variety. But I would rather play the next GTA if I had that choice.
ah, yes. Feeling cool with the kind of toys you play with is very important in those sensitive years when you are young and feeling peer pressure stress. I understand where you are coming from, and remember those squirrly feelings I had back when I was a kid.
I wouldn't even bother checking, because I know my PC is good, and I know I will never play games on it.
I work for 8-10 hours a day in front of a PC, and the last thing I want to do on my free time is spend more time in front of it.
I don;t necessarily think either side needs each other. But it would be cool for PS3 owners to have this game ported over to that platform. Cool, but not necessary.
As far as playing it on PC or buying another console to play another game...no thanks for me. It is just one game, and there are plenty of others to play on the PS3.
While there is an ever increasing cinematic feel to games, the multiple story choices in games diverge from cinema. A movie does not offer opportunities to see a different story arc due to interaction with the audience.
A movie experience is a tightly contained, and finely tuned powerful experience - if done well.
A story based game replaces the immediate impact of cinema for a longer sustained level of intellectual entertainemnt - if done well.
Burnout Paradise + all the DLC for 30 bucks is probably the most gameplay for the buck on a download...as long as you like racing games (this is one of the most fun racing games ever IMO)
Agreed. Totally random list, because trophies pop up all the time when just playing a game, doing nothing special.
Demo was cool. Totally not the kind of game I am used to playing, but I got into it, and wanted to keep playing when I reached the end of the demo.
Dear Activision:
60 dollar games are too expensive for us to buy very many of them. What are you guys doing to help stimulate sales?
I don't see any controversy here. It makes sense for a 360 focused advertisement. Many people that don't read gaming news might automatically think Sony exclusive when they hear the title Final Fantasy. The ads remind 360 players that they can pick this game up for their system too.
wow, what an amazing surprise.
NOT
Both old & new names are really stupid sounding
