There's games with a lot of hype, some hype, and then there's Days Gone. This article is the first I've even heard of this game, and I considered myself more plugged in than the average gamer. But it appears to be a zombie survival game.. a very tired genre with even established titles struggling to stay relevant or popular.
Plus the article is comparing it's crowd as small compared to last years "new IP" The Last Guardian... c'mon, everyone ...
My thoughts exactly.. Saw another article/post (maybe even on here) that 60% of LAST year's E3 announced games by Sony aren't even out yet. Yet somehow Sony "wins" by talking about games that will be lucky to see a 2017 release.
Well to announce it's processing power (teraflops) implies they've settled on their processor, and most device anymore have an APU chip that is both the CPU and GPU. But it's very possible they have a separate GPU to really maximize their video output. Probably won't hear any more from MS about it until next years E3.. hopefully my TV dies before it comes out so I can justify upgrading to a 4K.

Her speed boost in the mech suit gets her into the thick of the action, and her auto-fire flack rifle does just fine when I use her. I expect after her buff you'll see a lot more of her.

I liked it as well, though I'd stop a little short of saying amazing. It succeeded more than it failed, and I thought it's perspective on time travel was genuinely unique and kept me intrigued until the end. Had it not been for the lackluster and frustrating last boss fight I'd probably think higher of it. That said many things were handled quite well, from the live-action villain perspectives to the nuanced time ripples, it is definitely worth a look to any Xbox/Win10 gamer.

It might have the opposite effect .. at least the Scorpio build will. I don't imagine it'll be cheaper than the slim, and at a higher price point it'll be more like the PS3 release price vs 360. Think you're missing the point on bans here.. Blizzard is hardly a poor company, so I doubt financial gain is their goal. They just launched a multi-player only game with the goal of being accessible to gamers at all levels of play. Cheating in a game like this undermines the integrity of online play, and often saps the players enjoyment and desire to continue playing.

I would say based on their concept of the UWP, it's a pretty safe bet the xbox won't be necessary to enjoy Microsoft games but rather just an inexpensive means of getting into their games. The only real reason you should still consider it would be 3rd party games that either don't have PC releases (older Halo/Forza games), or are console-to-PC ports that run better on console.
Yea can't imagine why a head of a gaming division would talk about their only real competitor in their market.. he should really be talking about Apple and how cool their phones and tablets are, because that'd make more sense, right?
