You already used the key words that counter your reply.. prefer doesn't mean mandatory. Air is mandatory, but I prefer bacon-scented air.
If the trade-in value is still good, i'll probably just cash out on this game. Was decent for the first few weeks, but after the nerfs and increased grinding, I'd rather just spend my time elsewhere. 900 Phoenix credits for a vendor gold gun, GTFO .. I ain't saving for a month to buy a gun that probably sucks.
This is why midnight launches are a thing of the past. Overwatch was being praised for their approach to release times and staggered deployment, yet it still crumpled under the crush of aspiring players. Guess it's better than getting it at midnight and downloading a 3gb day 1 patch only to see the servers fail.
I'll gamefly Overwatch or wait for a deal, it looks intriguing enough.. I'm just over the whole 'day 1' ideology. I'll wait for stable se...
Well they've said there'll be 10 MP maps included.. but I could see them adding the CoD4 DLC maps as part of the IW season pass. I'm leaning towards the digital deluxe version anyhow.
Look nobody is forcing anyone to buy anything. Either it sells well to people who want some minor upgrades, or it doesn't sell well and it'll support the argument against mid-cycle upgrades and refreshes. For a device that costs as much as a subsidized iPhone (or half as much as a full-retail iPhone) there's sure a lot of people bitching about $300. If you don't want it, don't get it.. and don't bitch if people DO buy it, it's their money.
Well it really comes down to the specs of the hardware they chose to go with. It looks like the GPU is faster on the PS4 (capable of 1.8 teraflops instead of 1.3 on XB1) and they did go with DDR5 RAM while Xbox stuck with DDR3. The GPU disparity itself lends itself to why PS4 games are more likely to be stable at 1080p and Xbox tends to end up at 900p. Even freeing up the memory/processing of Kinect AND DX12 won't compensate for the GPU bus speed limitations compared to PS4. Neither c...
Yea I'm gonna pass on this particular clickbait.. he's entitled to his opinion of this game, but the troll is strong with this one. Red flag: poster is first comment on his own post.
This franchise especially.. it had a lot to prove after it's first iteration and sounds like it failed to do so.
I own it on PC and Xbox, though I've only played through a couple missions on both. I definitely like the feel of the single player, so it's worth getting when there's a deal or on gamefly if you have a console. Haven't tried multiplayer yet, but I'll take a look at that this weekend.
Who could have possibly predicted that an unjustified sequel to a game that could've been great had they sorted out the details, also could have been great had they sorted out the details.
Literally nobody asked for or wanted this game. The best sales pitch that the original homefront had was that it "wasn't call of duty or battlefield". This game almost died a few years ago and was acquired when THQ was liquidating its assets.. now it's someone else...
Indeed.. even if the satirical post had a noticeable impact on it's metascore, people should be intelligent enough to notice it's got stellar reviews from just about everyone. If not it's their loss.
I'd guess it would be to silence complaints about the games that are being released while the 'coming soon' list remains unchanged. But to add a little fuel to your 2 word comment, the only BC game I've even played so far is Shadow Complex, the rest of the list is not very compelling. My backlog of current-gen games leaves no time for BC games anyways.
Well... I thought Quake 3 arena was pretty solid.. and Doom 2 was better than original Doom. Just punching holes in the headline though. It's definitely a solid game this time around, looks very solid on PC and my console version arrives today.
Been enjoying it in the little bit of time I've played.. definitely not much emphasis on story so far but I'm surprisingly OK with that.
I tried playing multi in Uncharted 2 and didn't enjoy it at all.. though I was also particular bad at Gears of War multiplayer so maybe 3rd person cover shooters aren't my style. Anyhow I'm not surprised that UC4 sounds equally unsatisfying.. it always felt like an awkward addition to a great single player game.
Won't do much good with the servers not being live yet. If nothing else, they get to install ahead of time.. and maybe get the inevitable day 1 patch.
Well it won't be.. they've already said so.
No such thing as bad publicity, right? But yeah I'm curious how they'll lay out accessing the remaster. If it's just a code to download, people will be selling either the MW code or their IW disc UNLESS it requires the disc to run MW. In which case i'd expect the pitchforks and torches to come out.
Interestingly enough the reply varies between Sony and Microsoft at this point due to their shifting ideologies.
Sony:If the PS4K is mostly intended for PSVR, then it's a clear-cut decision.. if you want to play PSVR you need to get the 4K, and VR games should clearly state they're for the PS4K. So if you don't plan on getting a PSVR there's no NEED to upgrade your console.. so no need to offer a promotion to do so. All non-VR games should then work unti...
