Personally I'd rather not have it in my games. Great games like the Batman games and Skyrim show that a game can be just fine without it or keeping it to a minimum. In my experience all the the mature adults I know seem to be fine without it, it's mostly kids who want it as they seem to think it makes them seem more mature. However real adults rarely want to justify their age so it's unlikely many would buy a game based on it's profanity content, but rather they would buy...

I'm heading over to download it now. Skyrim starts out as a real great game, but once you get into is a bit and start experiencing all the bugs, it can be a real killjoy, especially the all the quest breaking bugs.

I agree about price cuts being needed to move sales. At this particular time I think lower prices are what is needed rather than newer consoles to get sales back up. Despite certain sections of the media trying to say otherwise, we are still in a terrible recession that has yet to really improve for the average person. Right now many gamers are really forced to choose where their limited resources are going to to go. Until the economy really starts to pick up or prices drop I can't re...

They definitely need some better Move Required games. Personally, all the games that I've really enjoyed playing with the Move controller are games that are compatible with either controller, such as LBP2. I've yet to play a 'Move Required' game that I like.

Two Worlds was a pretty shallow game, I didn't care much for it so I've never played Two Worlds II.

Your post leaves me to wonder if you've actually played Kingdoms of Amalur (or maybe only played the demo.) While the game does have a more complex form of fighting than most games of this type, I've done a number of side quests that haven't required me to fight at all. However the fighting does require some skill on the players part, so I can see that bei...

I'm really on the fence about which of the two games (meaning Skyrim and Amalur) is better. Both are great games in their own right, though Skyrim's buggyness is starting to get me to prefer Amalur. Also some of the changes in Skyrim from earlier Elder Scroll games have left me less than pleased. One thing I've always looked forward to in a new Elder Scroll game was the Thieves Guild storyline, but in Skyrim they've totally ruined it. It's no longer a guild of thieves, ...

Interesting, but not too much there to interest PC gamers like me who aren't fans of online gaming.

Thanks for the link, that answered my questions. I had suspicions that a lot of what I had been reading about the Vita's speed was somewhat exaggerated.

From what I gather from that article, it sounds like the Vita's card average around a class 4 SDHC card, putting it slower than the faster SD cards out there today.

One thing I am curious about is the speed of the Vita memory cards. I've been seeing a lot of comments of how it is so much faster than SD but haven't seen any numbers to back this up any where.

I'm not trying to bash the format or anything, just wondering how it actually stacks up against a class 6 SDHC card.

That would be really nice for a newly released HD system. Being a long time Nintendo fan, I'm sure I'd eventually get a Wii U, but if it's released at that price, more than likely, I'd be getting it sooner rather than later.

I've been curious about that myself, but to tell the truth, I'm not at the point were I feel I need addons for either game yet. I'm still fully lost in both worlds and enjoying them considerably.

While I can't answer for others, I've been pretty happy with my PS3. It gets a lot more playtime than my Wii and almost as much as my PC.

I'd hate to see retail disappear. I'm a collector myself with games ranging all the way back to the Atari 2600. It's sad to think that there are already many games out there today that will some day not be legally attainable.

However, with both the Vita and the Wii U having a form of retail distribution, I feel that I can at least assume that research done by both Sony and Nintendo indicates that the market is not, at this time at least, ready to go fully digita...

There is definitely a good bit of garbage on the platform, but calling all games on any particular platform rubbish is just silly and ranks of amateur game journalism.

There are some gems on the platform for those who know how to find them. When I'm on the go, I usually don't have time to game, but when I do, I've been currently enjoying Aralon HD on my iPhone. It's the closest I've ever come to playing an Elder Scrolls game on a hand held.

If you ignore all the silly comments made by the Vita fanboys (who have really been crawling out of the woodwork lately,) and actually read the article, it's pretty interesting. It just compares how the gaming market responded to the two different launches and does not bash the Vita at all. It actually complements the console.

This attack on the used game market is really getting out of hand and starting to be a problem for the average consumer. My brother, sister, niece and I are all gamers and we lend each other our games all the time. I do not see any reason we shouldn't be allowed to do so with any retail game we purchase.

Gamers should stand up against this kind of thing before it becomes more than just trophies that are being limited.

One of the worse examples of dlc I've seen is paying $5 to change your appearance in White Knights Chronicles. Talk about greedy developers!

Even EA, as bad as they are doesn't do that, or at least not in Kingdoms of Amalur were you can change your appearance any time for free by using the mirror in your character's bedroom.

Looks interesting. Too bad it appears to be a browser game. I tend to prefer to do longer gaming sessions, such as a dungeon crawl would require, disconnected from the internet.

You really can't say what system is better over the other just because of it's technology. It really comes down to each individual's personal tastes. While I have yet to make a decision between the Vita and the 3DS, I have had both the PSP and DS for years and can say for me the better system is the DS simply because I have enjoyed the games on it a lot more than what has been available on the PSP. This time around I only want to get one system, so I'm looking at the games ...

A lot of people don't seem to understand that the problem with Origin is EA's EULA, it is far more intrusive than Steam's (though Steam's is bad enough.)

Maybe if someone uses their computer for nothing but gaming, they wouldn't mind, but I occasionally do work on my computer at home and have business sensitive stuff on it. Thus I cannot allow another company free run to snoop around on my PC any time they want.
