The story in Horizon is not its strong point but the gameplay is really good.

You really going to try this stupid "next gen" argument. Zelda is compared to the witcher and skyrim. Zelda is also a lot more open, interactive, free, and detailed than Horizon. It's sad that Sony fans on this site can't take the fact that Zelda is better than Horizon. Zelda being better than Horizon doesn't make Horizon a shitty game. Horizon is still a great game, be happy that you got it.

No one ever said Botw is a perfect game. A 10 is a masterpiece. A game being a Masterpiece doesn't mean it's perfect. Nothing is perfect. Perfection is a concept that hasn't ever been accomplished.

The wiiu was abandoned because it was a failure and nintendo was ready to move on and the vita was abandoned by sony because it seems that sony either couldn't afford to support two consoles or they just gave up when they ran into trouble. Nintendo is going to support the switch unlike Sony did with the vita and Sony was stupid for dropping support of the vita so quickly. The psp was a good handheld console and the vita could've been better if Sony didn't abandon it.
Damn Shin'en is so good at making beautiful games that are really fun to play.

The retail price of the ds4 is $60 and a colored one is $65.
This game looks a lot like wind waker. The art style is beautiful.
The ps4/pro and the x1 had many issues like, not taking discs, not ejecting disks, not powering on, overheating and turning off, blue light of death, freezing, having bad video output/hdmi port not working, being loud as hell, console dying, connection issues with the ds4, the analog grips on the ds4 falling apart very quickly. These things are the risk of buying a console at launch.

I think it's because the wiiu is a dead console and there's no point in investing any more money into it. Also the switch's concept is something that will be very popular in Japan. To answer your question, Zelda is not really a big franchise in Japan for some reason. The west definitely like Zelda way more than they do in Japan.
They're also ignoring the Japanese sales numbers where Zelda outsold Horizon. Apparently the UK numbers are the world wide numbers on this sit now.
