Zelda is not bundled and this chart only accounts for 2 days of sales for Zelda and 4 days of sales for Horizon in the UK, which is still not a strong market for nintendo anyway.
The user base comments don't really work here because the UK is a strong market for sony and A weak one for Nintendo. The user base for the switch will most likely never be that big for nintendo in the UK and we're only talking about a small percentage of the user base for both consoles here.
This is just the UK there aren't 50 million ps4's in the UK.
It's just the UK numbers. The UK is a small market that really doesn't buy anything other than Playstation and I agree that it's great that a new ip outsold those shooters in the UK, especially since all they really play is Fifa and shooters.
In the UK all they really play is playstation.
In the UK. Who thought that a Nintendo game will outsell Horizon in the UK one of Nintendo's smallest markets.
That's what I thought
Yep and it's going to be worth some serious money down the line.
@taero
I believe that nintendo is working on that supplemental computing device which is most likely a dock with a graphics card in it.
Well the ps4...nope, iphone...nope, nevermind.
They can just return the console and get a non defective one.
There's like 170 games announced for the switch and about 150 of them come out in the first year. Sega stopped making consoles because they had like 3 consoles come out around the same time and they were making terrible decisions. Nintendo still has a very successful 8th gen console and make a ton of money. If you think having a few consoles being defective during launch is a new thing then where were you when the ps4/x1 launch or for any other console launch ever. Each console launch has...
I missed the days of the mom and pop shops.
It'll most likely sell about 8 to 12 million in it's first year but then again who the fuck knows.
I don't see that happening with the Switch. The reason it happened with the 360 is because the x clamp wasn't allowing for the heatsink to have a good enough connection with the cpu which caused the consoles to overheat.
It's always a gamble to buy any electronic device at launch.
One thing everyone should get for this console is a screen protector because drops will happen.
I think the rrod was the most widespread problem ever.
@peewee
The ps4 had hdmi issues, overheating issues, some of them wouldn't take a disk, the ds4 had connection issues, the rubber grips on the analog sticks were falling apart, and some of them just flat out didn't work. I think it was called the yellow light of death.
Dude its just the UK, which is a strong market for Sony and one of Nintendo weakest market that tracked 4 days of sales for Horizon and 2 days of Zelda, calm down. Hopefully this will help GG show Sony that they are more capable than just making those boring Killzone games and they will be allowed to experiment more on the type of games that they want to make.
