To be fair this is a wiiu port that they only had a year to work on and the wiiu architecture is so different than arm architecture that they basically had to rebuild the game in a year. We will see what the switch is capable of one we get games that are made with the switch in mind.
If you have a preorder from gamestop I heard that if you don't pick it up by saturday afternoon they will sell your preorder.
It might be the best quarter in gaming history
Hzd is a good game. Sure it's not as good as Zelda but that doesn't mean it sucks. HZD i easily top 3 games of the year and will most likely be there at the end of the year.
They did the same thing with Horizon someone gave it a 2.5/5 which doesn't make any sense.
Basically.
@Eddienx aren't they called nintendo epd now?
Damn there hasn't been a game rated this highly is almost 20 years.
You do understand that the 3ds sold very well and a lot of them will get the switch because of it's portability. By mobile I think you mean portable because nintendo has never made mobile hardware. Oh and Nintendo having their portable devs and console devs on the same system means more games, which is good thing.
They made a lot of money during that time. Nintendo just knows how to make money, that's why they've been around for so long. If one console not selling well can take down your business then you suck at business.
I'm a playstation fan and the ps4 sucked at launched and didn't get a decent game library until about 2 years after launch. Console launches are good for the people that the games interest at the time, if there is nothing that is of interest just wait until there is.
You can play zelda, bomberman, mario kart, snipper clips, I am setsuna, arms, blaster master zero, the binding of isaac afterbirth+, and some other games. No one needs to buy any console if all they want is third party, you get a pc. Also you don't ever need to get a console at launch, if the launch games don't interest you, wait until there's games that do. Hell the ps4 wasn't worth it for the first year and a half - two years. The only game from that list that I'm intere...
@stuna1 The switch is getting good reviews which is normal for a new console considering no console is at it's full potential at launch. This whole not a strong launch lineup thing is a weird thing for most people to talk about considering the switch has a stronger launch lineup than the ps4/xboxone/wiiu. We really haven't seen a strong launch on any console in a long time. The last console to have a strong launch lineup is the wii.
Maybe they'll have some bundles by black friday
These guys swear that the ps4/xboxone/wiiu launches had the greatest libraries ever. For me this is the first console I buy at launch and I'm getting about 6 or 7 games. These guys want consoles to release with a shit load of games, which will be stupid because most people only buy a couple games with their consoles and the others just flop.
These people are just grown ass children that can't stand the fact that people like things that they don't. Most of the people saying shit about the switch were never even going to buy it.
Battery tech just isn't there yet, hopefully it will be for the next iteration of the switch.
Actually the online gets turned on day 1 and only a few of the reviewers had the joycon sync issue, which can be fixed through a patch. After I beat LOZ, I have Bomberman, I am setsuna, Fast rmx, the new shovel knight dlc, world of goo, snipper clips, Blaster master zero, Binding of Isaac afterbirth+, and the other games that come out later in march and april.
All consoles have their issues when they are released mostly because their features aren't fully released and the game libraries aren't there yet. It's always fair to grade the potential of the console while pointing out the issues with the console.
Actually that's very different than sony launching the ps5 with horizon. With nintendo launching the games on both consoles at the same time its a cross platform launch and with sony launching the ps5 a few years later with horizon that would be a last gen port. Sort of like what they did with the last of us. Mario kart 8 deluxe on the switch would basically be the same as the horizon example.
