These people are losers with no lives. They go to pages and give games that they never played, that they never even plan to play bad scores because it's not on my favorite console. This "console wars" bullshit really brings out the losers.
If you have to get a sd card, you should get the samsung ones.
If you actually did your research or even read the dudes other tweets it was a faulty sd card and ScanDisk has replaced it.
It was a faulty sd card. For some reason there has been reports of failures for this model. The guy also clarified that his computer couldn't recognize the sd card, so he just decided to put it into the switch and format it. That's when the sd card melted. I believe ScanDisk has replaced his card

The model of ScanDisk sd card in the article.
Microsoft is trying to make the xbox brand a service on the pc. Right now they want to have a seamless gaming environment on windows 10. In the future if the xbox is still a thing it will most likey be made into a windows 10 device. For them this is the best move.
I agree. These consoles were getting to be too damn similar and now it's good that we can have three companies doing completely different things in the same space.
@nitus10
It actually doesn't make much of a difference if you install a sdd into the ps4 because the console has a limited that only lets the drives read up to 85MB/sec. You aren't able to reach the full read speed on any drive you install into the ps4. I'm not sure why Sony decided to do that though.
This isn't a problem with the switch. There's complaints of this happening in other devices with this sd card.
Also there are people who complained about this card melting in go pros and other cameras.
It's not a counterfeit sd card but this sd card has also melted in go pros. Most likely it's just a bad batch of cards.
They are; if you noticed none of these options have a spinning disk or platter like the options for ps4/x1.
The switch isn't expensive. It's one of the cheapest launch consoles ever and if you adjust for inflation it costs as much as a wii. No console is perfect and nowadays they're not even complete with all the features they will have at launch.
@sirBradders
Yes, most ssd's use NAND-based flash memory. The NAND flash memory in the switch has a 400MB/sec read speed
The read speed of nand in the switch is 400MB/sec.
The internal flash storage inside the switch is way faster than the read speed of the hdd inside the ps4/x1. The switch uses high speed flash memory which has a read speed. The flash memory of the switch has a read speed of over 250MB/sec and the hdd in the ps4 is limited to 85mb/s. That's why you see load screens in games like the witcher are over a minute. The only problem with the flash memory in the switch is that while it's very fast it's also pretty damn expensive to put int...
Flash memory is faster than ssd but also more expensive. The load times on cartridges are similar to what you get with a ssd.
Trophies are stupid and useless. You're playing a fucking game if it isn't fun for you without some bullshit reward, you shouldn't be playing that game.
I never got why trophies are an incentive for people. They have no meaning, there is no real reward, the whole gamer score thing means absolutely nothing, and isn't impressive at all.
Yep scalpers are assholes
