Oh no. A writer can't genuinely have a female protagonist without it being forced. It MUST be to please the politically correct world we live in. No writer would EVER think of female protagonists for their works. NEVER.

Sex appeal has nothing to do with the article if you actually bothered to read it. The thumbnail was just clickbait, but the reason the author loves the game so much is because it was able to elicit such a strong emotional response despite the person never feeling anything for characters in other rpg's he/she has played.

Next time, read an article before making such a pointless statement.

Omega Quintet wasn't very good overall, but I LOVED the combat and combos and all the intricate systems and mechanics. If only the rest of the game surrounding that combat was better

I don't know. I'd prefer them to target more in the 1600p range than 1440p for the extra image clarity and then use the remaining resources for improved assets because Horizon Zero Dawn achieves the 4K image by using checkerboard rendering with a starting/base resolution of 3200x1800(higher than the 1600p I'm asking for) and yet still has improved texture filtering and textures on top of that and performance that is no worse than the ps4 original. I don't think it'll be hard when last of us part 2 will be a linear game coupled with naughty dog being one of the most technically accomplished studios in the industry. Making it look better than Horizon, an open world game, should be very doable for a studio like Naughty Dog. I can't wait to see what the pro versions of Uncharted: The Lost Legacy and The Last of Us Part 2 look like in person. I've played infinite more than once, but I agree it's the weakest of the three games.

Same argument could be said for why would anyone have the newest and most expensive PC hardware if they won't take advantage of it for gameplay since they're tied to the specs of ps4 and Xbox one???? Clearly it's all graphics and framerate(framerate to a lesser extent on the ps4 pro and Xbox Scorpio)

I'd pay as much as $550 after seeing the digital foundry coverage of it and learning about just how impressive that hardware is for just a mid-gen upgrade. I mean, they go from the weaker of the consoles to being able to pull off one of the most technically impressive current gen racing engines at native 4K 60fps with PC equivalent ultra settings and still have SOME headroom leftover? Because Microsoft has proven in comparison to Sony this gen, that they aren't willing to take the same losses with profit and take the same risks with supporting games that aren't guaranteed to sell and turn in a net-positive profit.

It runs at 1200x675, which is shy of 1280x720, so it's nowhere near 1080p on switch or standard ps4 even for that matter, which runs the game at 1536x864.

Yes it would be enough to make a huge difference. The last of Us on ps4 pro looked so much better at native 4K that when I popped in the pro version after the update, I played the entire game again just to see how good the next scene would look compared to the 1080p standard ps4 version.
