I'm pretty sure both games are getting day one patches and by reading the comments on that website, it seems to be true, so wait until the release day patches before making judgments
also the game comes with 24 dlc's so that does offset the price quite a bit. Also, you mentioned about it not selling well. Grim Fandango sold poorly. Are you now going to say Grim Fandango's remaster should not be released because it sold poorly? Come on, use a little more logic
I never played the game so this definitive edition is as good a time as any to jump in
I hope this fuck never makes any analysis of any game ever. This was so off-kilter and completely missing the point that it is actually disgustingly offensive to anyone with a brain
Everyone is all of a sudden an elitist. Prior to the release of the ps3 and xbox 360, we were promised 1080p. Most games that gen ran at 720p, sometimes with framerates dipping below 30 and in a few cases with more graphically intensive games, developers opted for a sub-HD framebuffer. I guess you could argue that 60fps is necessary(even though it isn't), but 1080p really isn't necessary at all. Why would you want lower quality textures at 1080p for example when you could have higher ...
1080p and 60fps is very nice, BUT i would prefer a game push more polygons, more effects, etc... on screen at a locked 30 fps and 720p-900p resolution instead of a technical downgrade for 60fps and 1080p
I could have sworn I replied directly to the guy, but oh well. I got the point across
It is a survival game. Going in guns blazing is not the most opportune thing to do. In a situation like that, being as stealthy as possible while conserving resources is the smart thing to do. I don't recall ever dying repeatedly because of the AI or the game being unfair. I completed it on Survivor difficulty and every death was due to my lack of skill as opposed to anything the game did to uneven the odds against my favor. Your complaints of not being able to shoot your way through are ...
Alan Wake was the game that made me get an xbox 360 years ago when it released
what
Here's to hoping Alien Isolation does not meet the same fate
Actually, for The Last of Us, trading in your ps3 copy at gamestop would get you the remaster at half the price
looks nice up close, but from a normal distance it isn't remarkable.
What a genuine response. I'm beginning to respect these guys.
Fuck, I am so excited for this. I never played either, though I've always wanted to and I've also been curious to check out the books they're based on.
The grammar and writing ability in this article; Jesus
If that screenshot in the article with the big daddy is what the mobile version will look like, then yes, all your fears of it being a compromised version, BOTH visually and control wise, are correct.
I love JRPG's. it is one of my favorite genres, however, I can not get over the fact of how technically ugly a lot of Japanese games are. Look at Natural Doctrine on the PS4. That looks like a mediocre ps3 game visually speaking and this looks like it could pass for ps2 visuals(not to mention almost every ps3 era JRPG looked bad also). I will probably get this game because well I'm a sucker for Japanese games, but it's slightly disappointing that so many of these games look so vis...
You're very narrow minded then. A video game can be any number of experiences
Was that even a question? Does anyone see how simplistic the visuals are? OF COURSE it was going to be 1080p 60 fps
