It's called exploring an environment yourself as opposed to being at the mercy of exactly what a director wants to show you and when
It runs at 1620p based on the last beta, which is twice the resolution of 1080p. That's not something to be all like "oh it sucks, when it's twice the resolution of 1080p. That is a noticeable bump. Even just 1440p is a noticeable bump.

Wow, the disconnect in quality and design between the Deus Ex reboot series and the Thief reboot is so stark that I had no idea the same people could have made that mess
I really have no hopes for a new Thief game unless it's by the current Deus Ex devs. Those guys really knew how to take the traditional Deus Ex and give it a modern makeover without completely butchering the design principles the original game was built on. I doubt the devs that handled the 2013 thief reboot could make a proper thief game
Yes, Kiwami 2 will utilize the new yakuza 6 engine.
Yeah, weren't you aware? Just like Yakuza Zeroi, it's running on the outdated Yakuza 3 engine and the only boost the ps4 gets over PS3 is a bump to 1080p over the sub-720p of the PS3 version and it runs at 60fps instead of 30fps. All animations, assets, etc...are identical to the PS3 version because it was clearly built with PS3 in mind and it shows. Main character models look good, but all unimportant characters are ugly.
Doesn't matter what the message is. Stopping any developer from creating any game because you disagree with their intentions or ideologies goes against creative freedom. You can dislike the devs or the game's premise all you want, but to stop a game from being released because of sensitive subject matter that will offend is censorship.
Not like USA where only dude bro shooters sell? If that's the case, then why have niche JRPG's in the past like Shin Megami Tensei 4 and Etrian Odyssey Untold 2 among others taken a year and a half or so longer to arrive in Europe in comparison to North America!?? We speak the same language. The localization is done so what's the hold up??? It's probably due to the fact that they don't sell as well in Europe.
The option for original voices was for one of the games. Not both, though I can't remember which had the option and which didn't
Developers simply can not optimize for PC on the same level that they can on consoles. Even if pc's were all that existed instead of consoles, the multitude of GPU and CPU configurations(including the same GPU but one has more or less ram which is not something to be taken lightly) would make it incredibly unviable to optimize for specific hardware configurations.
Yeah, 3-5 are more likely to get remasters than remakes due to the amount of time that would be required to remake 3 more games as well as the fact that they're already way more modern visually to begin with than the ps2 games so they require less effort to stand up today.
The general fan consensus is that 4, 7, and 9 are the best of the pre-modern FF games(before voice acting was introduced). 8 isn't exactly considered high up there in the same regard as 4, 7, and 9
It's turn based...how much could sub-30fps really "hurt" your brain when it's a turn by turn game
You were doing something. You controlled the avatar and navigated an environment the entire game with no cutscenes to take control away from the player.
Doom was a revelation when it released. Whether it still holds up as a video game in 2017 in comparison to everything that has released since is entirely up to each individual, however you can not deny the impact and legacy the original Doom left on the industry.

Uuuh compare Street Fighter 5 to Tekken 7 and Tekken is in a whole other league in terms of depth. No competition.
Your comment felll apart at your last statement. While it is true that the Nintendo Switch is an underpowered video game console released in 2017 with even weaker hardware than the Xbox One, that still doesn't take away from the fact that it is still a much more powerful machine than the WiiU. It is not an incremental or minor improvement over WiiU. Sure, maybe it's not the huge generational leap it should have been, but then this gen in general in comparison to previous generations h...
I'd rather a remaster of a proven game from when Capcom was a high profile publisher and developer than a new game now that wouldn't be able to do the IP justice considering clover studios doesn't exist anymore
Even buying single player games like this that abuse microtransactions is voting for them to be included in more games. Even if you don't pay for a single microtransactions, the fact that you paid for a single player game that includes them at all sends a message to the publishers that you're okay with them existing in more and more single player games.
Let's look at online passes. Why did they die off? They existed for like not even 2 years last gen. It's b...
