I too wish they did something on the scale of Until Dawn. I bought into Hidden Agenda because it was only $20 at launch so why not? I don't necessarily regret playing it. It was an interesting experiment, but feels really hollow in comparison to Until Dawn. I hope their next game is a full fledged title in the vein of Until Dawn instead of this gimmicky budget priced playlink stuff.
Uh gaming is definitely art. Games like Ico, Shadow of The Colossus, The Last Guardian, Hellblade, etc....prove that the interactive nature of the medium lends so much more to the experience when crafted properly. None of these games would be anywhere near as effective emotionally if they were passive films.
I get into spurts like this sometimes. This year I have purchased well over 40 games and of those 40+ games, more than half are unfinished or untouched so I’m slowly working toward them. Sometimes it feels like a pain and when I feel like “I need to beat this game, but I’m bored of playing it” I’ll put it off and play one of my favorite games or kill time in a multiplayer title for a day then return to whataever I was trying to beat
I asked them a long time ago on Twitter before the One X had its first real big reveal with the price and everything if they would implement a pro patch and they said they had other priorities at the time, but it’s not something they would dismiss
HELL, THE FIRST MONTH OF THIS YEAR EVEN GAVE US YAKUZA 0(kiwami’s writing is nowhere near as good)
It’s narrative is NOTHING compared to What Remains of Edith Finch, Hellblade, and Nier: Automata
And I forgot HELLBLADE TOO. Horizon is nowhere near the level of a of storytelling these 3 games. Trash.
Best narrative to Horizon Zero Dawn???? Nier Automata and What Remains of Edith Finch are WAY more accomplished narratives. Get the hell out
Keep your politics out of your video game reviews. I’m actually playing it right now. In a dungeon. Not an amazing game by any stretch of the imagination, but your issues with the game’s portrayal of women should not be reflected in the game’s review. Trash.
He’s probably an EA apologist
Your loss
ADHD? Right. That’s why I okay walking simulators and deep and involved rpg’s. Because I TOTALLY need instant gratification

No they’re not because they still have ridiculous RNG and duplicates. Uncharted 4, while the furthest from the best implementation of loot boxes with its slow grind and acquisition of game currency at the very least does not allow duplicates to artificially lengthen the grind even further. Every time you open a chest, you are guaranteed to unlock something new. A far cry from blizzard’s overly ecstatic duplicates in Overwatch for example.

Just because a lot of developers use crowd funding for shady things, that does not discredit every single crowd funded project ever. Skullgirls by the same dev was crowdfunded and it is most definitely an in depth and complete product.

No pc at the time could have run the game at its max settings at playable frame rates. Not even the devs themselves could. Crysis was ahead of its time. It pioneered screen space ambient occlusion, for example.
Wolfenstein and Doom are mostly 60fps games on consoles aside from switch that are always at the very least at 720p or above depending on the version....ark however, runs sub 30 on the consoles and even in one of 2 modes on base ps4 and base Xbox One hardware runs BELOW 720p...how the hell do you think that poorly optimized tripe would work on switch????
When you take into consideration the switch Doom port not only runs sub HD most of the time compared to the basically st...
@bigmalky, I’ve spent over 1,000 hours on uncharted 2’s and The Last of Us’ multiplayer. I also regularly return to Uncharted 4 multiplayer as one of the games I playwhen I’m in the mood to play a video game, but my brain is fried and I don’t want to focus on an in depth story or maybe I’m in a party with friends and just want a good time and playing a story heavy game will kill the experience of the game. Or it’s not a story heavy game, but has complex mechanics and a difficulty curve and I ...
I do enjoy what I play. I’m a console only gamer that doesn’t get butthurt when pc versions of multiplatform look significantly better. Technology is cool and interesting and fascinating. I enjoy people that pixel count and analyzing game engines and performance and graphical effects. It’s cool, my dude. Don’t get your panties in a bunch. People like tech and people like comparisons. They’re fun!!!!
