I've heard of Clive Barker's Jericho and I read it was garbage. I'm optimistic about Del Toro's game, though. I'm hoping it's great, but I won't be that surprised if it's nothing special.
I'm for anyone with an ounce of creativity breathing new life into video games. Maybe someday, we'll get away from the heaps of generic shooters.
There's a paddle shifter on the wheel, you don't need the H-shifter. Still, you're right, $599 seems like an awful lot for something like this.
This year's going to be hard on my wallet. Let's not forget, The Witcher 2, the 3DS and all the goodies coming out for it. I'm still planning on buying Rock Band 3 and the Fender guitar and I want a full sized midi keyboard. ICO/Shadow of the Colossus HD, The Last Guardian should have been mentioned. I'm curious to see what Brink will be like. These added with the 11 listed in the video.... Let's hope the first half of 2012 isn't packed with games, I'm going to nee...
I'm pretty sure it's legal, but may be against EA's terms.
Works for me, I'm signed into my EA Download manager and there it is, right next to my Mass Effect 2. If you follow the directions in the link and use common sense, you'll get it. It's a little slow, I think a lot of people are doing it now.
Majora's Mask shouldn't even be on the list. If they're saying game of the last decade, that would mean a 10 year period of time. Since, we're in 2010 going into 2011, that would mean their decade should start in 2001, not 2000. Unless, this list is a year old or a year late. I call shenanigans!
This is the real original pic:

Wow, you really have no clue, let me pick apart your "points." I didn't say the PSP fully utilizes a TV, I said it can be used on a TV and it would be a small step to add it in the future with mini-HDMI. Negating, your woes of not using HDTV and surround sound.
1. So, making it harder for people to gain access to the hardware in their system is a bad thing for the big three? Really? I would think they'd want less people "breaking" into their consol...
There are a couple poorly made assumptions in your post. First, to say that a handheld will never be able to utilize the advantages that a console can is just ignorant. Second, nobody will have to forget about their big screen HDTV, since it will be easy to hook a handheld up to the TV.
The PSP can already be hooked up to a TV very easily. I wouldn't be surprised if the PSP2 outputs 720p or even 1080p. Add a mini-HDMI connector and you've solved any issue with HD qua...
That treasure hunt was pure evil/genius! I bought three games from the treasure hunt. And seven games from the Christmas sale and I'm sure I'll buy more before it's through.
I bought nine games and two expansions and also gifted Civ IV + expansions to my brother so we can play together. I absolutely 100% would not have purchased the majority of those games. Since, they were on sale for such a good price, I bought up a few good titles. Civ IV and its expansions for $6, The Witcher Director's Cut for $5, Super Meat Boy and a few other indie titles.
The game just doesn't seem like it's ready for release yet. For the most part, I like the game, I just think it needs a lot more polish.
I played it a couple years ago and loved it, but it's been awhile so I referenced something more recent.
I can't wait to play Shadow of the Colossus in 3d and Uncharted 3. I'm looking forward to Crysis 2 as well, but only for the PC. I have to get some use out of the GTX 570 I'm about to upgrade to.
I'm playing through Enslaved now and it really is one of the better examples of being lifelike. The characters really come to life, but you guys are right, it's a combination of their facial movements and eyes.
Amazing, a dev actually providing extra content for free!? I hope they rub off on some other companies. I guess I'll have to pre-order to support them.
Don't forget Indigo Prophecy/Fahrenheit, Quantic Dream's previous title that plays exactly like Heavy Rain.
A Discworld MMO could be amazing. It would be the only MMO where I actually followed the lore, instead of just clicking through the quest logs.
They're out there, it's just more fun for people to ridicule MS by showing how poorly they're utilizing a $150 webcam. No one is saying that PS Eye is exactly the same as Kinect either, many are just saying it can do pretty much everything Kinect can; which is true. Using a webcam to detect pixel movements can get near identical results to what Kinect does.
The results in this video could be replicated with any webcam.
The problems with FFXIII had little to do with the console and a lot to do with the horrible voice acting, awful script, and the lack of exploration. The full power of the PS3 wasn't going to save this game. Square-Enix is the reason why FF has turned to garbage.
