If I had a 360 I would just play halo 3 all day, but I can't justify a whole console for one game. I love Bungie because they think how I think, their ideas are also my ideas and I have a lot of ideas. The graphics aren't horrible but they are deffinately not up to par for a next generation console but of course this is an alpha build and should improve. I don't expect the visuals to be better than what Unreal Engine 3 offers either.

I am impressed with this game and the vid...

damn I guess it was a good idea not to add the expansion to the ps3 version.

You are going to see a lot more shifts with release dates this year. I believe all the middleware coming out for the ps3 is causing most developers to devote more time to their products. At least I believe that third party titles will be shifting dates. Sony seems to be focusing more on first and second party games and they will more than likey benefit before the third party titles.

I've heard that the graphics were not as good as the 360 version but the graphics were still good. I think the additions of the new maps and a new mission along with a new exclusive weapon would make up for any short comings.

The guy being interviewed seemed positive on the ps3s capabilities and the fact they were working on a changing development platform is amazing, since then Sony has been releasing a lot of middleware that should bring more AAA titles out a lot sooner. ...

I hope this game will be optimized for the playstaton 3 seeing as it going to require some different techniques to harness the same level of gameplay as the pc and xbox 360. John Carmack doesn't believe in the ps3 and that makes me hesitant about this game.

One of the thing I thought might be a negative is that there were only 12 players per side, but after actually looking at some video of game objectives that no longer bothers me. The objective based gameplay means that peo...

Its not the fact that 360 owners have to run out and buy the new elite its the fact that Microsoft is following what they have ridiculed Sony for doing. Its the constant put downs and statements like "Blu-ray disks are unnecessary."

I believe one of the reasons why I stuck with Sony is that they are risk takers and innovaters, much like nintendo except they have the games I really want to play. With all the middleware tools and power being releassed every day by th...

Great interview I understand completly what he's saying about the ps3 and the gaming industry.

This, "mine is better than yours" crap is not how dignified high ranking executives should act. I don't know why he seems bent on slaming the competition for their format choice, has Phil Harrison been doing this lately during GDC or after that event? I don't believe he has, at least I haven't heard or read anything about it. He focussed on what the Ps3 is doing and what it is capable of without slamming the competition.

Is it even appropriate to slam companies who ...

Capcom said that they would expand the Devil May Cry series to give others the opportunity to enjoy this great game. So why not do the same with the others; Lost Planet and Dead Rising. Give other consoles a chance to play these titles Campcom; liars.

I did hear a rumor a while back about Dead Rising 2 coming to the playstation 3.

"The artists of Guerrilla Games that the levels of Killzone consider, can much freer to work go. Many of their ideas, that were to be translated previously impossibly in computer language, can now without already too much problems become processes in the PS3-versie of Killzone. "We can play with light and shadow effects. We begin the quality of films to equators."

The programers and artists feel they have more freedom in the levels they are creating compared to ...

That Oblivion will be out this week. This is really piss poor on Ubisofts part the only saving grace is that these later games are going to be better than the orignal, free of glitches and other programing problems, at least they should be.

Its actually pretty old, all this footage has been seen and reported when it was new. I don't know why it says its new when everything shown was shown months ago.

This is the direction of true next generation gaming.

Its a free service and doesn't take over the basic functions of the PSN we already have. If you want it, you can download it, simple. This is not a bad idea and it is a new idea.

I think it will be great for creating your own content and it provides a medium to actually interact with people that you can't normaly meet. I can picture someone actually visiting your custom home and checking out the latest user created games or what have you.

I hope the servic...

This how I thought the original PSN was going to work, it was going to be more peer to peer, with each PS3 sharing a portion of power to create a near lag free gaming enviornement.

This will probably benefit more from the home service and MMORPGS could be on the horizon. It maybe cheaper and more efficient to create a persistant world using connected PS3s. The reasons why I bought a ps3 :)

The ps3's cell chip was meant to be the graphics chip, until Nvidia stepped in with their RSX. So the cell is esentially an extra graphics chip. Something most people didnt know. I believe that nearly all of the demos at E3 were running from the cell chip without help from the RSX.

I do believe there were marketing problems for the ps3 but the new marketeer seems to be on his Ps and Qs so I think it is an improvement.

I don't feel that Sony is indeed playing catch-up to microsoft. They have released somethings that will be on the ps3 as well, because Sony had announced features like dowloading movies, etc... before the launch. Sony has taken some different routes that suit them and I don't believe they are following microsoft's business model so close...

This game is going to be one of the best mutiplayer experiences online. Nice find, I've been following this game since its been announced. I wonder what they have instore for the ps3 controller. 32 player plus online = sweet.

Griping over nothing, this game has no single player and nothing to take up all this space. Its a multiplayer game only. About the only thing you're downloading are maps and planes and most of the information will be held on the servers.

Don't be ignorant and assume this is going to take all day, if it does take a significantly long time then they would release a hard copy.

They are saving a lot of money on this there is absoulutely no production, no cases...

I think any educated person would know that was going to happen. I knew a few months back that Sony would more than likely discontinue the 20gig. It just good for production and costs producting one version than two. I thought it would have occured later than sooner though.

Besides the majority of people are purchasing the 60 gig over the 20 gig version. Initial sales of 20 gigs were bought because of no choice, the 60 gig was sold out.

My personal opinio...
