Guess I was the only one who read the fine print that said it would be up to the developers to implement patches for the trophies and the 2.4 patch. Future games in development will of course be required to use these new features.

haze is just average not bad but not good either. I'm not a fan of European game developers, there humur and what american gameers want to see tend to be out of wack. Of course its just my opnion from playing the demo which really didn't demonstrate everything I was interested in, there should have been a multiplayer deathmatch with one map so you could at least see both sides.

The industry doesn't work how it should if it did, if it did, then all the advertisers would be contributing money or something to the game and games would cost less because expenses would be down on their end. However this doesn't seem to be the case as games are just as high than ever.

The game still looked fantastic, so what was the point. There are obvious points like, the game is not finished, plus how close are you going to be sitting( two inches from the screen).
This article is just a waste of space and there's nothing supporting this comparison. What I saw was was less jaggies and more detail, hopefully the game will not be in 1080p(like the pictures may indicate)but will be at 720p with 60fps. 60fps would definately make this game pure gold.

I'm not really a tech head, but I've read a number of times that it comes down to planning. I guess if you've become laxed in the way you use the resources when creating a game you become use to becoming sloppy and wasting. If you have to plan out your memory allocation and overall functionallity of the game code you are maximizing the code and game.

They are on the same track that Microsoft started their first year. If Sony manages to sale the same units this year, next year, then they will be exactly where microsoft is now. So all those reports about Sony falling behind or failing is bogus. don't get your hopes up, I've been following this since the ps3 launch and in the community it seems they're more focused on the pc and 360. He even says that in the interview. He han't even said anything new that hasn't been said on their website.

It doesn't really matter, if you're getting a ps3 then you might already have a ps2. If you don't own a ps2 then why would you have ps2 games, and if you really want it, either buy another sku or purchase a ps2. The price will probably be dropped to $100 in the close future.

I would just like to address the comment "Sony will struggle" its a competitors response. Its an empty statement, what will Sony struggle with? What details of their game 2.0 seems likely to fail? This is how I know that there is concern from microsoft that this is something they haven't planned on offering to their consumers. been playing since it released late tuesday night and haven't had a problem outside some slow stat recording. More than likly one of those C+ internet connections.
I have a 60gb model and as soon as it loaded I tried to get into call of duty, but i kept getting the game downloading settings, tried warhawk and when it got online it froze with the initializing screen. So I had to reset it by holding the button the console, after that everything worked fine. I played call of duty for a couple of hours and warhawk for an hour and a half while messaging friends back and forth. Everything worked fine and haven't had a problem today either.
