Kewlkat, he was saying that the formula for these types of games are the same. Lots of racing and dirt. I don't see how you can disagree with that.
I think he meant "multiple routes" over "multiple tracks." Of course there is multiple tracks. Just thought I'd point that out becuase you missed his meaning.
why continue. If you don't see next gen then enjoy your 360, I see it. And that's really the point. I didn't see next generation when the 360 came out, so that's why I'm buying a ps3.
What I see in this game is things that are not possible on previous consoles. The amount of particles and physics alone is testiment to the next generation in gaming. There game even uses next generation controls with the tilt function.
Some of the innvoation comes from, unli...
I believe he was talking about the artistic approach, design, or the look of the game. The way the buildings are designed and the fact the atmosphere is like a once great and beautiful world now destroyed.
except the automatic logging and that the online network is in place. I always wonder why PC gamers get the same thing for free while Microsoft charges for the same services.
If the service is relatively lag free then Sony will have a true winner on their hands.
This is how you update your fans of your doin's. The makers of Socom should take note. Great blog this should get a 10.
The rectangle was his shields. The game looks great and the environment seems to have some great interaction in the game.
Here is an excert from gamspot, who had the privilage to play all three versions. The main article is already posted on the PS3 New thread.
"It's worth noting that the 360 and PS3 versions are identical in terms of content; the only difference we noticed is that you can thrust with the sixaxis controller on the PS3 to make your character do his melee attack (though you can still use the button if you want). The games looked quite similar, too, from what we could tell. The...
So the developers are being lazy and trying to copy and paste the 360's strengths over the PS3. This is utter garbage for a developer to not take advangtage of the strengths of both systems.
I would also like to say that its distastesful for one developer to take shots at other consoles. There job is not to critize, but to use there best efforts and develop to that consoles strength.
I've seen video of Call of Duty for both consoles and they look nearly iden...
"The big news with COD3's multiplayer is that it's now class-based and features vehicles, Battlefield style. There are a number of classes available, from light and heavy infantry to sniper, antitank, and medic. This merely affects your initial weapons loadout, since you can pick up other players' weapons when they die to change it up. Each class has some special abilities, as well. As the sniper, we were able to sight in the enemy's flag base with our binoculars to call in an artillery ...
If its possible why would they pass up the opportunity to make money? This game is deffinately coming out to the consoles, both consoles in some form or fashion.
I guess the entire industry could benefit from this. More space for coding, better textures, etc...Hours and hours of game time on Rpgs and perhaps longer FPS games.
I would say Microsoft needs it and it would just be a bonus for Sony to take advantage of this as well. Good news, combine this with Sony having development tools in the works for eighteen months to take advantage of the ps3 as soon as possible is making this next generation cycle worth wild.

Generally you shouldn't trust posts from forums, but I hope this turns out to be true. There has been a rumor or two about Sony including a movie with the launch.
Is Talladga a Sony production? So I would think its very possible if it is. However, for now this is only a rumor, so try not to get your hopes up.
The comment about AI and Assassins creed I think was in reference to both next gene systems. (ps3 and xbox360) Great read, but you're going to catch a lot of frack from the xbox fanboys. Any developer favoring one system over the other always attracts alot of heat.
"I hate fan boys."
why does it sound too good? I've been hearing alot of positive buzz from those who actually got to play the system. They would know better than us, right? I'm sure the Mart will be here in the next couple posts to support more Sony hatin.
I am a firm believer that Sony's first generation games look better than Microsofts second generation games. I still don't see next gen, with the exception of Gears of War of course, on the 360.
I truly believe that the onl...
It is fact that the ps3's hardware is powerful than microsofts, just look at the numbers. The only statement that he said that was true is that developers who have experince programing with the system will make better games. However, developers like John Carmack have become laxed in their programming, unwilling to put in the extra work required to get the most out of new technology. Developers like Insominac are the ones that are going to push the next generaton and surpass games like Gears...
Unless they were able to cut production costs it doesn't seem likely that they would have a price cut inside a year of the system launch.
It is feesible for them to keep the same price ratio as Microsoft to compete, as companies tend to do, but not within a few months of the system release. Bundles and discounts sound more likely. I would predict in the Fall of next year they would have a price cut.
But what do I know.
I hope that the controller and headset are included in the box, let your friends buy their own.
I knew that at least 3 months ago. I believe the main reason was because of the xbox 360 fiasco. They don't want to be put in a similar situation with the Ps3.
I don't know why the tennis game and the skate board game don't have online, but Resistance, Call of Duty 3, Motor Storm, etc..(the other launch games do) So, uh...what?
What kind of logic says that since two games out of about ten doesn't have online that there will be no online at launch.
What a waste of human sensability. People with obviously too much money. Why would spend $6000+ to hold a title that everyone knows you didn't earn?
What respect is there? I would respectevely call you a moron. Really, what's the benefit. Gaming gone too far in my opinion, I would shoot myself for even considering purchasing this, because life obviously has no meaning to me. However that is only my opinion(and wishes).
I think its a great achievement if all hi...
