seeing scores in the 8's on a game that's suppose to be the biggest game of 2014 is a little sobering to many. By no means are 8's BAD at all, but I think a lot of people are wanting/expecting TLoU scores.
I can't imagine this is for anything other than official minecraft OR support? Unless that's already a thing?

I thought people were excited about this game because it looks fun, turns out they only cared about the graphics at E3 2012.
@rdgneoz3 the delay was to fix MANY things, things that worked against the game. I have no Idea about the graphics but this hoopla is all over a trailer in which we don't even know what systems being shown. It could be Wii U graphics for all we know. But as a community we just always assume the worst and completely turn our backs on things on a dim...
if you have issues with COD influence, TF isn't going to help that, really.
Going to be interesting when a true next gen COD is unveiled and then releases later this year.
@farmassy, batman games have typically sold better on playstation anyway. Given the ps4's install base it makes sense.
it's a pretty safe bet given the critical acclaim of the past Rocksteady Batman games. It's not like it's some shot in the dark.
Except... it's on 360 as well. And sounds like virtually the same experience. It's also on PC. This is where having your own studio developing a game comes in handy. It allows for ACTUAL exclusives.
I still laugh when a new gen comes out and people act surprised the shelves aren't lined with dozens of AAA exclusives like the previous gen (after 7 years). PATIENCE! Good grief!
I blame parity. This is why cross-gen games need to die.

Where was it confirmed in that watchdogs gif with the orange car and crappy graphics was from the ps4 version? Is it not possible that's the ps3 version?

This is a guess on my part but I'd imagine Sony has more resources devoted to VR than the team on OR. Also OR has relied on crowd funding a lot so obviously they're showing every step of their design, whereas Sony has probably been working internally for a long time and hasn't revealed their steps along the way.
Sony did lose a lot when 360 had a year jump. But it did nothing but gain ground worldwide and eventually pass 360 in sales (and offer a wider, better range of exclusives to boot) when it did finally launch. 360 had the games because it had a year headstart and devs didn't have access to ps3 dev kits until far into development. That's why so many games early on were on 360 and not ps3. So yeah, early on 360 was winning. Only because ps3 hadn't released yet.

My guess: Froza & Forza Horizon alternate every other year. What if sony held off on DC til this holiday, with GT7 coming holiday 2015... that way both MS & Sony are releasing competing racers every year.
