The first one's story was just a bit of a clusterfuck to me. I'm not a fan of the whole psychological horror stuff, though. Just isn't scary to me. It's a lazy writing crutch where they can just randomly insert 'omg scary moment' into the mix with no rhyme or reason. It tried way too hard to be deep and overly-complex.
It's obviously a themed PS4 Slim/Pro. NO way Playstation EU twitter would be the ones to unveil PS5... come on.
Spin this however you want, it's a glorified training sim with it's true focus on online. This game looks boring AF. Way too many worthy alternatives these days.
@Inzo, Uh... how? Is it portable? Does it have IPs that are in the same galaxy as Nintendo that are in any way still relevant?
I miss actual art style. Also, you all would be ripping this to shreds if it were an XBO exclusive, saying it's a TLOU clone. But because it's on PS4 you give it every free pass imaginable. Typical N4G.
It'll be funny to see their excuses when Switch shows up PS4/XBO during the holidays. Of course when that happens the narrative will change to 'of course it did, Mario always sells'.
Stock limitations. Nintendo is competing with Apple right now for parts. Please get off N4G every now and then and learn something before spewing ignorance around like it's fact.
Yeah you seem reliable.
Found Don Mattrick.
@moon, you mean like PS Move, PS Camera and 3DTVs? it's another attempt to turn novelty into something sustainable. Hell even Kinect was successful for a bit... doesn't matter though. The shallow nature of it will always lose out in the end.
They both suck?
Because this site is full of PS fanboys. That's why. If it were a pic of a PS CPU, first comment would be "Amazing" and have 300 upvotes with 2 downvotes.
Have you ever played Ubisoft games? Like Far Cry, Assassin's Creed, Watch dogs? If you're honestly denying this game doesn't borrow heavily from those on almost every single front then you're a blind fanboy. And don't give me that tired "It has an amazing story" schtick either. We're talking about gameplay here.
Everyone's talking like the Switch is competing with PS4/XBO... is everyone forgetting it's a handheld too? Clearly it's positioned to be the successor to the 3DS, which did fantastic in sales despite not having (GASP) major AAA games. Believe it or not, somehow, someway... there's still a massive market for handhelds. Playing it on a big screen is just a nice perk added on top. But keep pushing the narrative that it 'must have RDR2' and the like to be successful. XBO ...
Kind of a lazy title TBH. Especially on a Playstation console. Why would you give your game such a common name, especially for an indie game?
You do a lot of running and climbing in Horizon too. Only you can only run and climb where the game wants you to.
Ah so it'll be basically exactly like 3 & 4 with a different skin. literally and metaphorically.
No, but that narrative is one he likes.
Pretty sure Valve hates MS. Have for years. And especially since MS tried pushing their published games thru Windows Store on PC and not Steam (initially).
