Well that sounds awesome. I had my doubts about what Dx12 could do but this sounds promising.

We as gamers can make our minds up on a game based on watching videos these days. We typically know one way or the other how we feel about a game before we see reviews. Reviews don't do much other than fan the flames of fanboy wars to give ammunition. Reviews are SUPPOSE to let people who are indecisive and haven't seen a lot of footage know if they should be interested. Problem is, whether it's infamous, titanfall, forza, thief.. you see HORRIBLE scores, and then PERFECT scores. ...

Is it just me or are review scores all over the place nowadays? They're quite meaningless. Those who are excited about a game will read the positive reviews, those who dislike/are jealous will read the negative ones... games getting 10s on site and 6s on another, it's just so subjective. I'm starting to think reviews are just hurting the industry more than helping. They're not helping those who are truly indecisive, they're just confusing them.
First off, overreacting to the levels you are cannot be healthy. And also, you're not forced to buy anything. If you go into a review with a predisposition of being angry that a game is 'a demo' and therefore NOTHING the game can do, no matter the high level of quality, will change your opinion, then... how about you refuse to review it? You're basically saying that "I hate that this game exists, regardless of quality, so I'm going to trash it and give it bad review s...
Why can't they make it work? I'm quite sure they wouldn't have invested all the money they have in VR if they were just taking a shot in the dark. Does that mean VR games will look like KZ? Probably not... but they don't need to. Refer below to my comment.
I think people need to understand that a game designed for VR on ps4 will not have the same graphic fidelity of a AAA exlusive non-VR game. Sacrifices will have to be made BUT the ends should justify the means when you're fully immersed in a VR world.
Hell, I want an OR so I can walk around black mesa on a game released in 1998. Graphics are hardly my main concern with VR.

To the reviewer: Are you playing the same thing I'm playing? Giving this a 2.5/10 is inexcusable.
In all honesty, just like with politics, there are a whole lot of people who just shouldn't be talking because it, in all seriousness, DOES do more harm than good. And I'm not eliminating myself from that either, I could be one of them! But there's no denying it. Just because we can all have a voice doesn't mean we're somehow logical and thoughtful.

Only not at all. This isn't some gimmicky wave your arms about like a fool and have less control with games. This is an immersive experience that PUTS you in the game, while not taking away your control. It's an experience enhancer, not a control detractor.

The proof is in the pudding with VR... they need to get out and market this in person. Commercials won't sell it alone. They need word of mouth to sell this thing.
I always thought it ironic when ms fans or even ms try to boast that "with games with gold, you keep the games even if you drop xbox live" ...you know... since they throw EVERYTHING else behind the Gold paywall. So you almost literally can't do anything else without Gold.

@Nerdmaster, at least they're separating the gens now. It's time we start getting more ps4/xb1 games that aren't doable on ps3/360/wiiu. It's kind of the reason we bought the new systems.
Finally stuff that can enhance games and take them to the next level without gimmicks and without sacrificing control. I welcome all VR tech. Let's see what ya got, MS.
